Don't get mixed up in that "It's popular and mainstream now so I'm bitter or" "I liked this artist before anyone new him or before this album".

Just pay attention to the artist and the product they put out, that's all that matters. Don't base what you like off of fans, base what you like off of the product.

Yeah exactly. And that's only 5% of his FB following. Imagine if every "fan" was actually a fan and bought the album. That'd be nuts. It's weird to me because things like video games sell crazy numbers, but that's because you can't DL them I guess...but even back in the day, music didn't sell that much on a regular basis.

I bet if he said "This album is my last. Go buy it on _________ ! " then he'd sell over 1 million first week for sure.

He should just start making really hot beats and rap the fuck out of them. I think a really cool idea for an album would be to just rap. No choruses throughout the whole thing. Each song has a beat with a certain mood or concept (as usual) but it's just lyrics all the way through. He could put skits on it if he wanted (as separate tracks), but the whole thing is just spitting. Kinda like Untitled I guess.

I dunno, I think it'd be cool. Maybe for an EP before an album to hype us up.

i think, along the same lines, he should do a song like that, therefore being like buddens who killed hip-hop. that would be one thing, if anything, i'd wish he'd do before he retires

Yeah that'd be cool too if they switched beats. As long as they were good beats throughout the song (unlike N****s in Paris going from a dope beat to a wack Kanye interlude thing).

What Em did on Despicable was good though.

I honestly wonder tho what will happen, for 2 reasons.

1. the true em fans are getting older for the most part, i mean he broke onto the scene almost 12 years ago, and the majority of those fans are my age or up to maybe 5 years older.

2. The new em fans, being the recovery fans basically because of not afraid and ltwyl, might not be into it anymore, because these younger kids are all about whats hot at the moment, and to them eminem might be old news by the time he releases another album, even if its this year.
