The voice, until you get into his music and listen to him a lot he sounds somewhat like Em but then you are able to tell the difference and then they sound nothing alike.

I think its the flow. When you rhyme that much it creates a certain sound that's usually associated with Em. Hes definitely influenced by Em but hes never bitten, with the exception of the whole "parents hate me" pretense in some songs.

Also, he should be applauded for constructing a lot of real and honest thoughts in such lyrical ways. It's kind of a lot easier to just babble or say violent or over-the-top things... all of which are welcomed if they're part of a character and done right, but what he's doing is good. A good blend.

This tracks on some other level shit. Been following Hop since the first Ill mind, & it's crazy how far he's came.

To the Em biting comments--I think after the first two ill minds which he did sound like Em (1 & 3), he's developed his own style since then. Definitely buying Knock Madness if it'll be like this song.
