Mountain Dew Diet

Okay so I'm around 170 pounds. Some of that in muscle some of that In fat. Being 16, I'd like to lose around 7-8 lbs before my growth spurt. I know ill get slimer when I hit it but still.

Anyway, I know I'm kinda husky lol.I figure the best way to take around 8 lbs
Off is to cut off soda. I wanted to know if this should be completely cut
Off? Or..?

Also I really Don't like the taste of water. But I've heard people claim those water packets that add taste are bad for you. Any truth to that?

Cutting sugar is a great idea and soda is the best place to start.

Your post doesn't have much to do with your thread title though, what do you want to know about Mountain Dew Diet? I really suggest water, add lemon if you want flavour, lemon is good for weight loss too.

Diet sodas won't make you gain weight. Because it has no real sugar in it. Trust me.

But drinking lots of water is good.

diet soda retains water weight
trust me

water weight is easier to lose than fat gained from sugar
but deff cut it out

get mio, theyre water flavoring with no corn syrup, sugar, aspartame
and the taste is good

aspatame is bad, dont worry when they say it causes cancer everything does
but it retains water weight and makes u feel and look bloated

Water is very important. And it really doesn't have taste. But if you don't like drinking water you can try to drink infusions. Like chamomile, green tea...

I'm short, I said in the op im due for a growth spurt (according to the doc, not
Dre)

I'm 5'6 , my gut doesnt stick out, but most of that weight is in fat.

For that bullshit aspartame rumor that it'll cause cancer, your body will allow you to drink TWENTY cans worth of aspartame a day before it reaches toxic levels in your body. You have a problem if you drink more than that a day. You'll be fine in that department.

Also, to lose 7-8 pounds? Switch to diet soda and find a treadmill or go outside and run 3 miles a day. You'll lose those 8 pounds in less than 2 weeks, I guarantee it. Do some crunches as well. I lost 60 pounds in 3 months last year (and still ate whatever the fuck I wanted) and all I did was run run run.
