I know Em has mentioned a lot of people were posting fake notebooks online. The real one was lost in an airport and never found. It was probably just thrown out.

Actually, if you really want to hear something cool Em really wanted that Notebook back. He wanted it so badly that he even set up a toll free number to call if you found it (1-888-311-4343) and an e-mail address (found@eminem.com).

Is it just me, or does anyone else think all the Christopher Reeves rhymes were meant to be on older albums, before his passing away? Especially with songs like "Medicine Ball" where he's actually talking back and forth with Chris.

It had the official lyrics to the MMLP and few ideas of songs. Imagine, songs of the MMLP era. So dark, mysterious, all gone. It's the same notebook, apparently. Maybe he lost it in the set itself.

I have always wondered who caught hold of it. If that person was a rapper, then he must be out there...somewhere.

MMLP was released in September?

Oh I'm sorry, August 1999 - April 2000 is when he recorded MMLP. He released MMLP in May of 2000. He lost the notebook in November 2000.

He does. There are lyrics sheets in his book The Way I Am from a long time ago that show up on Recovery. The one I remember was phrased slightly differently but went on to become "I don't need a tank top to be a wife beater".

What I love about Em's note-pages is that you can listen to his tracks and correlate rhyme-patterns from different songs.

When he made Still Don't Give a Fuck and Get You Mad, I really think that some of the rhymes from both came off the same page. For instance:

(SDGAF) But I smoke dope in a cab
I'll stab you with the sharpest knife I can grab
Come back the next week and re-open your scab

(GYM) Tipped over some cows, just for a joke and a laugh (MOOOOO!)
Jumped up, choked a giraffe, snapped his neck and broke it in half

You could almost replace the SDGAF lyrics with the ones from GYM. e.g But I smoked dope in the cab, jumped up choked a giraffe, snapped its neck and broke it in half! (YEAH!)

If you look at Em's pages from 'The Way I AM' book, it's clear that a lot of his rhymes are written down, and he will go back and see what he wants to use. A bit like taking money out of the back.

It's the same notebook, I doubt he got a 2nd Britney Spears rhyme notebook after the 1st one was stolen, but instead just a regular notebook or pad.
