Magic: The Gathering

Not sure if this belongs here, not a video game, but a game nonetheless. Does anyone else play? If so What sort of deck(s) do you run?

I don't play standard legal, I prefer extended.
I have built 3 decks:

White Mono (White Weenies/Life Gain)
Sliver Swarm Deck
Red/Green hard-hitting Beast-deck

Just wondering if there was anyone else on TR who played or if I was the only one.

P.S If you don't play, and are looking for a card game to try, try this one. It's much better than Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Shield Dragons, World of Warcraft Cards etc. Probably the best card game on the market imo.

I just played Yu-gi-oh once with my cousins and it's not bad after all.

I really enjoy Magic myself actually. even purchased the Xbox arcade game of it. unfortunately i'm pretty far behind compared to other Magic players in terms of skill so I have no one in my area to play with outside of comic shops (which has all the more skilled players).

I've done some work on my decks, so I figured I would update:
I dismantled my Green/Red beast deck, wasn't winning as much as I wanted it to.
I upgraded my White-Mono deck with about 30-40 dollars worth of additions. I now have much more control/swarm capability. My record is 26-2 since re-building the deck.
My Sliver Deck has not changed.
I built a Red/White Samurai EDH deck, with "Agrus Kos, Wojek Veteran", as my general. This deck has yet to see play, but I have high hopes for it.

@Hadez
I would advise playing them, even if you no you will lose the first couple times. Depending on if they're nice, or if they are jerks (I find most people to be nice, at least where I play) they will most likely help you out. It's how I got better. If you play someone, and get destroyed, learn from the loss and apply it to the next game. They might even give you tips on what to add/subtract from your deck. Hell, if you link your deck list I'd even help you out. :y:
