Trimss ft Spyder - The Final Hour

So I haven't dropped a track for like a lot of months. I just started writing back and recording too, and since my Cool Edit Pro software stopped working I had to mix this with Adobe Audition. (I got Cool Edition back now though so I'll start recording more maybe.)

There is no real concept, just some murderer fully rhyming type of shit. The intro in the beggining is from an interview, and the interlude between my verse and Spyder's is because I'm shit at doing hooks so I decided to do that. Sorry Spyder lol.

reminder: Last drop I posted, i was struggling to be on beat. so you can start criticizing from that.
And the accent is because i'm not a native english speaker.

This was cool AF. Trimss I think your voice went perfect with your verse ccause you kind of have like a bad ass sound I guess and you flowed vey well.

@Geno, yeah I think you're right. I'm not really clear on this one, and I could have done better, even I know it. But Adobe Audition really threw me off, I wasn't familiar with it at all and so I recorded my verse like .. twice only. Normally with Cool Edit Pro, I do it until it sounds pretty much ok.. But now that I got a crack, I think I'll do better.

at geno, i pronounced everything right... Rasputin is said the way i said it. Rass-spute-tin
and yeah carnivorous was a typo hahah i didnt catch that.

not really sure about the fading in and out. the only thing i can think of is the mic "clips" if i get louder, which maybe i get overly loud in a part thus resulting in a clip, which would sound quieter.

Uh naw, your lyrics were much more complex than Trimss' lol.

You never got back at me with you speaking normally Spyder. Geno explained it perfectly;

Spyder, your voice fluctuates or something. It's like when you rap you open your mouth really big while saying some words and other words you don't. I don't know, it's hard to explain, but it's awkward.

That is what I meant earlier about your voice sounding like you're making fun of someone or something. Anyway your flow is alright, but it's not there yet. Still talking to Spyder. What I mean is that you understand being on beat, but you are not on time. For example the rhymes in some of your couplets, don't end the same way (pronunciation and pace wise). It totally makes them sound like separate lines rather than a coherent thought (something you should be striving for).

Trimms, man you have improved. I have a question though, you're so much better at French (I'm assuming) than English, why don't you record in French? Yes, your most prominent problem is pronounciation. That's probably such a bitch trying to get your tracks across most, and I personally have never recorded in another language so I don't have any advice on learning how to pronounce better other than maybe trying to read out your verses slowly with perfect English pronounciation. Get someone on Skype or MSN or Tinychat or something to help you out with it until you pronounce everything clear and you're ready to actually rap it out with speed and rhythm.

As a song, the interview kinda shit was cool. Helps make it from a random netcee track to an actual song of sorts. You know? Good effort on that.

I don't have really any GOOD advice to give you guys, because no matter what it's always going to be the same shit "Yeah nice flow! Keep at it" in the end and everyone just does their thing until they improve themselves. So yeah.

I don't really listen or like French Rap, so I never tried to rap in french. I think it just seems wrong, but I might give it a try one day. It's a lot easier for me to rap in english (to write I mean, not the pronounciation.) probably because I'd have to start from start to scratch lol.

Yeah I really need to improve that. Step by Step I will, what I do right now is before I write a rhyme, I check on Google Traduction if I pronounce it right haha. But this was more fast paced, so I guess when I'll do a calmer song it will be easier. I hope so, at least.

ok, first off nice lyrics and flow. but try double layering your voice next time it sounds like its behind the beat not in sync. but that could just be the way you recorded it. cool samples, sounds pretty smooth beginning to end. your voice's was slightly dull is all but other wise nice work!
