What's your views on her?

I personally think she's just another pop star. Just another Katy Perry. Just another Madonna. Just another whoever.

People think she's this godess and one of the best things that's happened to music. Don't get me wrong, the girl has some pipes on her. She can fucking sing. And I read she writes a lot of her lyrics and other artists lyrics which is a plus.

But when you take a look at her music that made her big..

it's hogwash.

The difference with Gaga and why she's so well received by 'smarter' fans is that she has been successfully marketed to endorse the whole idea "it's allright to be different,". Ironically she wasn't any different to any other pop star.

All this aside, I do think the whole 'be yourself' and 'it's allright to be ugly' that is now associated with Gaga is inherently a good thing. I just don't think she's the creative brainchild behind it all.

Fucking love Gaga's Music. Born This Way was a little disappointing, but her overall music is deep. It's different from others, in a way. She's one of those Artists who likes to do things with her voice that most of the pop singers don't divulge into. I think she has a great voice and she's just fun to listen to. Comparing Lady Gaga with Katy Perry and Rihanna is blasphemy.
