I haven't listened yet, and you all probably know I'm only posting this because of Black Hippy. However, I expect something good because Statik Selektah is a dope producer and I trust Black Hippy's judgement to hop on a track. I've never heard of Strong Arm Steady but they just came out with a 6 track EP that is entirely produced by Statik Selektah and features a song with Dom Kennedy and this track with Black Hippy. I'm kind of sad Kendrick Lamar didn't hop on. He was probably too busy because he usually always gets on these tracks with Black Hippy, but it's whatever. At least A-Soul and Schoolboy Q are on here. Also, if you are interested about the EP, here's an outlining of it:
The California native trio of MC’s known as Strong Arm Steady are back, and in a dope way, as they dropped their latest project Stereotype EP today. The EP was dropped to gear up the masses for the official Stereotype album which drops August 14. Though the EP is only 6 songs, the fellas bring some heat.
The project features fellow MC’s such as David Banner, Dom Kennedy, and more and showcases the skills of SAS. Both the album and the EP boast production done exclusively by Statik Selektah. Check out the Stereotype EP after the jump and let us know what you think.
