2 Chainz can fucking die for all I care, he can be the nicest and most generous fucker on Earth, he's still the worst rapper in recent times. With that stereotypical motherfucking flow, you know which I'm referring to? You say something.....then you pause....three more seconds....end the bar! GET A FUCKING BRAIN!
I would rather slit the throats of innocent toddlers than listen to this abomination of redundantly uncreative bullshit. Fuck recent rap.
Do you know what's more annoying?
The people who say this shit is dope are the same people who say current Em is shit.
I honestly can't believe how ANYONE can listen to NIP, Mercy, No Lie....etc randomly, like when sitting alone wanting to listen to
musicI can understand how those songs can get you hyped up live or in a club/party, but praising it and naming it the best thing that's happened to hip hop (NIP)? SHUT THE FUCK UP!
That's why I don't discuss music with Ye fans, they're so shit and have no common sense what so ever.
Praise Yeezus? Fuckin pathetic, they would suck his cock if they had the chance.
I like this music (love this music, to be honest) and find new Eminem to be an atrocity. It's all about your content preferences. 2 Chainz is not a good rapper. I will be the first to admit that. But the way he presents himself, ad libs, and delivers his lines appeals to me. A middle-aged white man talking about fast food, farts, and hating women is a little tiring to me after awhile. I find ignorant banging rap to be timeless because it's just mindless listening. I don't need to pay attention. 2 Chainz has some very quotable lines and I love that kind of stuff.
Don't get me wrong. I love music that takes a concentrated thought. I love Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Nas, Crooked I, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, etc. But I can also listen to 2 Chainz, Lil B, Rick Ross, etc... and people always look at me like I'm crazy. They aren't good rappers, but their mic presence makes up for it when I'm chilling, or jamming out in my car or at my house, then this stuff is my shit. I don't care what the rhyme structering is like. I don't care about the punchlines. It bangs and it doesn't burn my ears like Young Money's music. They have tolerable voices and rap over solid beats/solid hooks.
Maybe it's just me because I have one of the most accepting, diverse tastes in music history because I love the genre of hip-hop so much. It's incredible how far the genre ranges just with the guys that I listed. And I think that's what makes it great. The best rock music isn't always written beautifully and whatnot. A lot of time, the stuff just sounds good.. and I feel that way with hip-hop a lot of times.
