Lasers was great, the beats were just more mainstream sounding. That's okay though, they were still dope beats.

This song is ok, but I just wanna point out that Kanye's voice is amazing. :y:

And Wild Boy is a great party tune. I love it.

Come on now. Niggas in Paris is fucking banging. It's ok not to like Mercy or this one, but come on.

Also you don't discuss with Ye fans? Name and I gave you a lot of links and songs all you said is I'll listen later, or I don't like this, I don't like this. Well then it's your taste. I can give you at least 10 Kanye West's songs that have everything an Eminem song has, except the rhyming maybe. But better beats.

Menzo wrote:This is absolutely fucking atrocious. Music like this should be officially it's own genre, I'm so sick and fucking TIRED of having Hip-Hop being connotative with THIS fucking type of shit.

2 Chainz can fucking die for all I care, he can be the nicest and most generous fucker on Earth, he's still the worst rapper in recent times. With that stereotypical motherfucking flow, you know which I'm referring to? You say something.....then you pause....three more seconds....end the bar! GET A FUCKING BRAIN!

I would rather slit the throats of innocent toddlers than listen to this abomination of redundantly uncreative bullshit. Fuck recent rap.

Do you know what's more annoying?
The people who say this shit is dope are the same people who say current Em is shit.

I honestly can't believe how ANYONE can listen to NIP, Mercy, No Lie....etc randomly, like when sitting alone wanting to listen to music
I can understand how those songs can get you hyped up live or in a club/party, but praising it and naming it the best thing that's happened to hip hop (NIP)? SHUT THE FUCK UP!

That's why I don't discuss music with Ye fans, they're so shit and have no common sense what so ever.
Praise Yeezus? Fuckin pathetic, they would suck his cock if they had the chance.

I like this music (love this music, to be honest) and find new Eminem to be an atrocity. It's all about your content preferences. 2 Chainz is not a good rapper. I will be the first to admit that. But the way he presents himself, ad libs, and delivers his lines appeals to me. A middle-aged white man talking about fast food, farts, and hating women is a little tiring to me after awhile. I find ignorant banging rap to be timeless because it's just mindless listening. I don't need to pay attention. 2 Chainz has some very quotable lines and I love that kind of stuff.

Don't get me wrong. I love music that takes a concentrated thought. I love Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Nas, Crooked I, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, etc. But I can also listen to 2 Chainz, Lil B, Rick Ross, etc... and people always look at me like I'm crazy. They aren't good rappers, but their mic presence makes up for it when I'm chilling, or jamming out in my car or at my house, then this stuff is my shit. I don't care what the rhyme structering is like. I don't care about the punchlines. It bangs and it doesn't burn my ears like Young Money's music. They have tolerable voices and rap over solid beats/solid hooks.

Maybe it's just me because I have one of the most accepting, diverse tastes in music history because I love the genre of hip-hop so much. It's incredible how far the genre ranges just with the guys that I listed. And I think that's what makes it great. The best rock music isn't always written beautifully and whatnot. A lot of time, the stuff just sounds good.. and I feel that way with hip-hop a lot of times.

Kanye's verse was pretty meh for the standard he's been on lately.

Everything else about the track (concept, beat, hook, 2Chainz in general) is horrible, trash.

Yes you can love that kind of songs, I have no business in forcing you into hating it.
But admitting that it's nothing special on a technical level is a great thing as well, I respect that.

Other than that, I have to disagree with you about the "white middle aged man rapping about fast food/farts and whatnot". How many times has he done this?

Listen to Relapse again, aside from a few childish lines...It's a completely dark album, with great lyricism, awesome delivery, great story telling, great structure and simply great concepts. I'll be fine if you said you didn't like it for the accent or because the music didn't appeal to you as much as other songs, but dismissing the quality of the music, let alone calling it garbage, is pure ignorant.

Be aware that when you judge a rapper like Em to someone like Ye, the comparison wouldn't even be fair to the both of them. They're completely different.
You get people saying MBDTF is better than Relapse, how so? Most of Em fans don't look solely at the production, they're into the technical aspects of rap more. I can get how people would want to listen to MBDTF more than Relapse, but why do you think it's that? It's because Ye focuses on making music to listen to whenever and wherever you are, while in Em's case...You got strong language, hard hitting drums, lyrical masterpieces and so on. People don't prefer that all the time.
Em's music has been used a lot in movies and TV, it's been used to torture people, it's been used to threaten people and many other things.

I am not trying to argue with you nor am I trying to say that Ye is bad.
I'm simply saying that if you come to me and tell me that a certain rapper (not necessarily Em) is awful and I happen to like that rapper, knowing that you listen to that music claiming it's amazing i'll surely get a bit upset. But in this case, you've stated that you love this kind of music despite it being forgettable lyrically so I respect you for that.

I love Relapse. It's probably my favorite (not best) Eminem album of all time. I loved the delivery and I loved the content. I was mostly referring to his most recent material/features. Stuff has been pure garbage and unlistenable to me.. Right now Eminem isn't an a stage of good rap that you have to listen to the words and rhymes and he isn't in the stage of music where you can throw on the song, let it go, and jam out. That's what I think has went wrong in Eminem's career. He's not sure what he wants to do. At all. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited for the next album.

And My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is my favorite album of all-time. It's not pure hip-hop and at times is very far away from good rapping.. But it's probably the best music I've ever heard on an album located in the hip-hop genre. But like you said, impossible to compare the artists.

Props to you for understanding where I'm coming from and I also respect your opinion. :flower:

Also, thanks to Solace and Almostlity for the shout outs. Glad I have some people who agree with me :smoking:

I hate on Recovery and have since the beginning. I wasn't sure about Relapse at first, but I've turned into a huge advocate and fan of the album.. especially after seeing what his post-Relapse stuff sounds like.

And Jadakiss and Nicki Minaj have the worst deliveries of all time. Aesop Rock and Kanye are nowhere near that level.

So you didn't like what he put out in between Relapse and Revovery?
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?
