I received it today and when I opened the booklet I found out a little piece of gold colour paper about a contest in which you could win a day with Em in his studio of Detroit.
I read it and the contest ran from September 23 to November 4 2003 and it was only open Canadian residents, there's a PIN number printed on the paper and you have to enter it in a site called "obie.umusic.ca" and find out if you've won. Obviusly the links they give you (the other is "obie.universalurban.ca") don't exist anymore so I can't read the rules of this contest and find some infos.
Here's what it says on the back:
"Win a day with Eminem in a recording studio, just go to obie.umusic.ca or obie.universalurban.ca and enter the PIN number on the front!
No purchase necessary. Contest runs Sept.23 - Nov.4, 2003. Open to Canadian residents only.
One Grand Prize trip to spend a day at a recording studio with Eminem is available to be won (subject to artist availability). Approximate value of Grand Prize is $10,000 CAD. Odds of winning are 1 in 100,000. Skill-testing question required (LoL). Full contest rules available online at obie.umusic.ca or at obie.universalurban.com."
Anybody here know anything about this? Was there really any lucky bastard who spent a day with Em in the studio? And if yes, what do you think they would've done in that day?
Of course Em couldn't just record and do normal things because there would be such an high risk that the fan would spread infos about his new projects and some like that, I have a feeling it would've been all organised and you you could only see Em with a bunch of security and barely talk to him.
(Sorry if I made some mistakes writing but English is not my main language).
Bye!
PS: There was also a little flyer about Green Lantern's The Evil Genius mixtape coming soon

PPS: Obie's dope!
