You really don't know Lupe if you think this is shit.
And in the first verse he was talking about exorcism, the second verse about lobotomy and the third one about both religion and pedophilia.

I'm a massive Lupe fan, but this is just boring. Doesn't come close to anything on his 1st 2 albums. The beat is lame as hell. And he's soooooo preachy, it's ridiculous. He use to do it tastefully, now it's just pathetic.

First listen, hook is just eh. Lyrics are good as always but for people saying it's lupes style to not release musically good music . His first two albums not only had great lyrics and concepts but they pulled you in with different styles and more artistic sounding.

Hard to explain what I'm trying to say but theses new Lupe songs all sound so generic.

OK, I'll keep it 100, I don't really like the beat and expected more from it but the lyrics are dope, flow is fine, so I'm overall pleased with the song. However, I'm more excited about his rapping songs so when I get more of that, I'll have less problems with the other tracks, lol. Form Follows Function is now set to drop on August 28th, and that's the song I'm looking most forward to listening and it'll be the true measurement for my expectations of the album.

Lupe seems to get too caught up in getting a point across in his music.. I feel most of the time he forgets he should be focusing on, well, good music. I really dislike him and his whole pretentious social views. I don't dislike his music, nor do I like it at all. I just dislike him as a person and find his whole "persona" to be tired and lame.
