Why did George Carlin walk out on Eminem/Debbie

My guess is he had a one night cocaine-induced stand with Debbie, woke up, went, "OMG, WTF?!", and ran out.

As great as Louis CK is, Carlin is the untouchable GOAT.

Ahead of his time? Sure, in 1970. But late in his career he simply because a crabby old man. He completely lost his touch.

The curmudgeonly Carlin was not yet evident in this clip. But already he was well past his prime.

This time he has nothing to say. It's just a long string of phrases and cliches. There's talent in his breathless continuity, but the comedy is gone.

here's the thing, carlin in his later years was more a social commentator, not exactly a comedian per se. Louis' Hilarious is probably one of, if not the, funniest special out there.
