Cashis?
Stat Quo?
Boddy Watersomething?
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Well he kind of did actually.

He may have had big singles, and the reviews of both albums were OK, and the albums were good enough; but neither were classics and both compromised. He fell short twice for many.

Then if you're defining it partially by commercial sales; his debut had a decent first week, but then his second album debuted lower (#5) than his first album and had a pretty low first week sales, despite big singles again. So he's hardly a been a raving success.

You're giving him unreasonable expectations to live up to though. Nothing on his mix tapes were ever THAT much better than his albums. In fact, I always thought that his albums were more creative and musical while his mix tapes were more of traditional rapping. And of course he's going to sacrifice a bit of quality to sell, all labels are making the rappers do that. His album wouldn't have sold anything if it weren't for Airplanes and Nothin on You.
You think your personal attacks make up for what you lack?

^ Wolf is coming out for months and months now. Their buzz is pretty much gone, their next album will be a lot different from their first. They all want to switch their style now.

= They lost.
