I did actually like this line, also think it needed to be a bit louder. Its not bad for a feature but I do expect more. Just hope he lifts for his solo album, he always does.

I believe his voice needed to be louder as well. He sounded so damn calm though so it's a great sign.

I also like the Renee Zellweger line lol. He has a bunch of good lines in this verse.

Really, whoever thinks this verse is "random" was clearly not listening properly.

If you ignore the somewhat awkward, quiet flow, it's clear that Em is as strong lyrically as he's been in awhile. Not once was there a :facepalm2 worthy punchline in this song (say what you want about the Renee Zelwegger line, but it went with the lyrics and was not nearly as cringeworthy as his "shit" puns).

His next album is going to be monstrous.

Em gives all those faggot fans what they want, an emotional (good) verse, and yet people still find a way to bitch? I give up.

I actually think his flow is noticeably bad/annoying, and paired with the other verses on this track (as much for their loudness as for the passion in the delivery) I do think Em is outclassed on this track. As he should really be on a Slaughterhouse album.

I do love his voice though. And I'm please he didn't shout any of the punchlines with an awkward pause to follow (there is a slight pause after the 'weger' punch line).

I think this is an honest view of the track. Anyone who suggests his flow was perfect and consistent is kidding themselves, and it definitely doesn't compiment the other verses at all.

Actually I'm pretty sure all people want is a well executed verse, it doesn't necessarily have to be emotional but it HAS to be well executed, no matter what the content is. Yeah people wanted something serious for a change (which shouldn't even need to be requested) but it being serious doesn't automatically make it good. It still had BAD lines. Raise havoc like a stay at home dad is a bad line. That Renee ZellWEGGER line doesn't even work. The random stringing of rhymes about hoebags and gonads is a clear sign of bad writing. We aren't trying to find ways to bitch, he just keeps piling us with ammo.

Oh and he REALLY over complicated his flow/delivery which didn't fit the song at all.

Em's verse is scattered all over the place. He's talking about 5 mics first, then Taz spazzing on ho-bags, then how you shouldn't admit when someone's better than you, then going back to a regular job and holding your gonads, then how people call him a wigger like Rene Zell and how he raises hell like a stay at home dad.

LOL if you just listen to the verse, it all goes together, subject-wise. I can understand not liking the flow, but saying that it's random or that he doesn't actually say anything is hilarious.

This is one of the dumbest thing I ever read.

Take Lose Yourself. First he's rapping about his sweaty palms, then he drop bombs, then he talks about spaghettis and at the end he talks about a clock and starts "blaw"ing. He also talks about gravity.

I'm not saying this verse is as good as LY obviously, but .. the way you look at it, well that's stupid.

Word choice isn't amazing and either is the flow, but the subject matter fits.

"His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy
There's vomit on his sweater already: mom's spaghetti
He's nervous, but on the surface he looks calm and ready
To drop bombs, but he keeps on forgetting
What he wrote down, the whole crowd goes so loud
He opens his mouth but the words won't come out
He's choking, how? Everybody's joking now
The clock's run out, time's up, over - blaow!"

That actually all makes sense, whereas on "Our House" Em is just picking random topics up:

"Looking back on, my career even, hindsights, tunnel vision, 5 mics
Never wanted that so bad well I got-ta go mad
Nomad with a notepad
Go Taz, spaz on these ho bags
That bother me, but I never wanna show that
Just don't act like it ever does
Even though you know that there will never come"

Like, what does that all mean?? It's not a linear, coherent thought like Em would usually pull off.

Which is why I immediately thought of Encore when listening to the verse lol
