I was never a drug addict, I just made all that shit up because I was running out of ideas for another album, so I purposely made Encore shitty so I could just record a bunch of songs in a 4 year break period and eventually come back. Wouldn't really care. My friend before was trying to make out Em made up his background and whilst he obviously didn't; I don't care either way.

Just like, Tarantino makes up his movies; I don't watch Pulp Fiction because I believe it really happened, I watch it because it has brilliant dialogue, is funny, and entertaining.

I listen to and have always listened to Em because he's a brilliant rapper, and I enjoy what he puts together; I love rhymes and flows, I'm not in it for his life story. And whilst all of that certainly makes him more interesting and adds to the picture, I really don't care.

In fact I'd probably be impressed that he managed to make it all sound so real; having done a lot of drugs and been to those places myself, I'd be impressed that he managed to fully encapsulate the mindset and the moods, and what a person like that goes through.

He's an artist, not a biographer. He's a creative, and an entertainer, and he does it well.

What if the reason we got Encore is because Jay Electronica stopped writing for Eminem? It would make sense cause in 2009 he released an actual good album, and in the same year Jay Elect shouted him out on a song, "Shady, you can catch me in the D now baby, it's all gravy".
