My theory is no. I think these artists only keep going for as long as they do because they are a special breed of ignorant. You notice in hiphop it's either elite lyricists who know what they're doing, and then these drones. But nothing in between. My theory is that there's no bridge in between those two builds to fill in that gap because those are the normal people who get filtered out before we ever end up hearing them. These super ignorant ones, however, are quite simply too ignorant to truly see themselves in comparison to real artistry.



Anyway, on topic: I think Hopsin has to make a response. He's talked too much shit about the kid up to this point. Soulja is one of the token wack rappers in hiphop today, so it's hard to avoid taking shots really. But that on top of the fact that Hop's gone out of his way to make diss tracks towards rappers with less than a 100th of the fanbase that Soulja has, I just feel like it's inevitable.

This is all before we mention that when you're a rapper like Hop, you're always waiting for one of these mainstream fucks to bite into your hook. It's literally best case scenario. Hop (and others alike) dream of this type of situation. This is like throwing a premium cow carcass into a starving lions den.
