Well, it wasnt as good as i wanted it to be mainly coz it was NOT a typical interview at a time when i was craving a typical interview! lol

Other than that, i agree... Royce was deep in that interview. They really invested their all into that album. I wonder how they will recover from here.

"I'm better than 99% of these rappers and the other 1 % is my boss"

What Joe said was true... him and Joell have gone through the greatest transformation for the sake of Slaughterhouse. I'm not sure about the new Joe but the new Joell >>>>

"At the same time shows how arrogant Ye is."...... lmao. At least he is honest, Royce shouldn't whine about not being recognized if Royce doesn't actually motivate Ye. Besides, Royce is the more arrogant artist here. If you actually knew about Royce X Ye's history you wouldn't even say that. First, Royce basically stole a beat from Ye when Kanye was trying to get his career of the ground (the beat was one off his possible big breaks), then he shouts out him out on W2H in a disrespectful way despite "no disrespect Mr. West," and then moans over not getting a shout out. Royce needs to move on tbh, it's obvious Kanye gives zero fucks about him, why should he.

But can't Ye, as a fellow artist, give credit to one of the best rappers who ever did it?
I think if Em were up there, he'd mention Ye before anyone else. That's what I know.

Eminem ususally only mentions his team though, if I'm not mistaken.

Oh, okay. But still, Royce acting a bit like a bitch complaining about no shout out. Kanye even said it was unintentional, but Royce had to spin it into something even more negative. It's one of those things that I understand that it hurts you, but you would be best to keep it to yourself. He can always grab the mic from Ye at the next VMA's.

That Niqqqa on them oversampled beats
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.

What Royce says about Ye actually just shows how arrogant Royce is. How presumptuous of him to assume Ye MUST have been inspired by him / Em, who's to say he was :confusion:

That was a great listen. Really worth the hour.

Royce was very deep. I'm starting to like him more and more again.

Joell is a great person, it seems.

Great interview.
