Hilarious quotables and even though at first you wouldn't think they'd be appropriate for this type of song, yeezus makes it sound incredible as always.

I love Kanyes first three albums... Back then he was an average rapper who knew how to put an album together better than most.

Since then, about 90% of what he released has been horrible and I'm surprised he hasn't gotten more shit for it, because honestly it's bad. His rhymes are now elementary, his production has declined, his arrogance has grown horribly out of control.

His rapping on WTT was appalling.

I miss the old stuff he used to make.

He's not the best of the best lyricists but he has his own style, as in... writing style, there's personality in it, he has a good flow and a lot of authentic passion.

That first line is genius, don't even think it's deniable tbh. He's a very underrated lyricist on here imo, rhyming isn't his strong suit and people tend to write him off for that but they don't realize that rhyming isn't the most important part of lyricism. He isn't Pharoahe Monch/Lupe Fiasco, but he's a fully capable lyricist that knows how to write fantastic songs.

What's genius about it is that beyond being a clever metaphor, it perfectly sums up his musical persona and attitude, 'sophisticated ignorance' - Kanye is very much aware of the fact he's ignorant or looks ignorant or outlandish sometimes, yet he's still got an artistry and intellect... so that line just, it's very very good.
