Em is definitely finding his natural wit again. He was witty as fuck on The Slim Shady LP and The Marshall Mathers LP; and The Eminem Show in parts but he began to get a lot more self-serious and then that with a mixture of totally inane and goofy and just stupid with Encore...

But with the "Richard" verse, and this, I can definitely hear some real vintage flashes of sarcasm and imagery shining through.

If anything this verse reminds me of the kind of things he'd be saying around... 99 maybe, somewhat similar to his "Fuck Off" verse or something in theme, but his flows are more layered now, and his delivery is sharper, he's like a voice artist with the range and clarity now.

Definitely think there's gonna be some grade-A classic material on the next one.

I feel the same...his lyrical content is kinda going back to some of the things he would have said when he was first blowing up.

His flow is absolutely out of his world on this song though, it's crazy good, do you think this flow is better than the Richard flow?

Lyrics weak. Delivery is great.
"I take yall diss as endearment - I love it when I hear it
Maybe words offensive - free speech I don't fear it
Maybe music can take us to a place so atmospheric
Beyond our greatest imagination, illuminatin' experience
If we open our ears and close our inhibitions, it's clear"

Seems like he's rhyming like, every line with the next now. Like, on this and "Our House", quite long stretches of like everything continuously rhyming on to the next, I like it.

really the only thing he needs to improve for his next album is the concepts... everything else is fantastic to me oh yeah and the beats but i have a feeling hes moving in the right direction!... hopefully a classic album... if his delivery and flow is like this plus a good concept for the 50 cent feature im hyped as fuck

He also mentions him on "Welcome to D-Block"
"Welcome to D Block, the mighty mighty D Block
A place in New York City where Diddy wont even walk

It looks like one of Redman's early verses, with different delivery though. :y:

First off it isn't a diss to Diddy. End that discussion.

And payn3killer, I see what you mean there and it is definitely arguable. I also know that 'diddy' is a street slang for the police. We'll go with double meaning :y:

I can't believe this is actually getting unanimous praise. Not cuz I think it's bad, but because I was certainly expecting people to bash it regardless of how it actually sounded.

Glad to see Em shutting people up.

Em's voice around the end of the verse immediately reminded me of when he said "Bizarre sit yo' nasty ass down." in Blow My Buzz.

If they do decide to make a video, I'd love to see it lol. P!nk's vocals aren't bad tbh.
