We ain't talking about Swift here.

I think it's cuz Kendrick's mom used to let him borrow the van to go the studio, and I guess this is to show his appreciation to his mom. I like it. Old School as fuck indeed. :smoking:

I like the cover, nice sentimental value. It's going to be a very personal album.

There's a possibility this is fake btw, no official updates that I've seen so far from Aftermath/K. Dot. That's the reason I didn't post it.

Someone told me that "The Recipe" was playing in a strip club around here.

I seriously love te covers, I just don't think they are as good as O.D's or Section.80's. They'll grow on me I bet.

sick album cover, I love both singles and I love Kendrick Lamar's whole style and movement. This album is gonna be a classic, I'm not even trying to over hype it and put myself up for disappointment, he has complete artistic control, I have faith in him. HiiiPoWer

Finna be a classic tbh, so much symbolism in these covers. I think those people holdin him in standard are his uncles that are doing time, and I love the baby bottle being close to the 40oz. Gonna go down in history tbfh. Deep af

Tbh, I'm buying three copies. I'm buying deluxe and standard CD's and the deluxe iTunes version, I need thoughs covers and I need an iTunes version. Maybe he'll sign pre-orders.

"I had the chance to attend an intimate listening session for Kendrick Lamar’s debut album in the DMV. I literally walked in just as the first song started. The bad news is they only played 3 songs, the good news is 2 of the songs have features and all three are pretty damn good.

1. Title Unknown – Kendrick explained the song as a subliminal message to the people that expect for artists like himself to blow up and forget where they came from but this is him showing he’s remained the same. “Don’t Kill My Vibe” might be the name as it was mentioned in the hook.

2. Poetic Justice feat. Drake – This is a song for the females that dudes can enjoy too. Surprise? It’s a Janet Jackson sampled song, not sure which song it samples but it features a verse from Drake. K Dot and Drizzy both end their verses with this line “I can’t right my wrongs unless I write them for real”.

the sampled song (I'm not sure but I rly think it will be this one :shifty: ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... nWPmk76PcU

3. Now Or Never (?) feat. Mary J. Blige – This is a very radio friendly song and has potential to be a single. To be honest, it’s the best MJB has sounded in a minute, to me anyway. Kinda in the same vein as “Reach Out” on Life Is Good but a lot better in my opinion.

Kendrick mentioned wanting to work with Erykah Badu at some point but that features were minimal on the album, we’ll find out on October 22nd when good kid, m.a.a.d city hits stores. "

He also did a freestyle of "Stay Schemin"

In case you ask... YES, the listening session of the album was real and it was amazing if we believe ppl who could go there

Sounds like they walked into a listening session of Cole World tbh. I'm not a hundred percent convinced. I put it as possible tracks until its 100%

I think we can believe it but I agree that we don't have enough sources :)
The freestyle was just after the listening session and ... they are already shooting the video clip of "Poetic Justice" with Michael Trudel (he was the Production Designer on "Drank" !)

I really can't see newenglandfilm lying since they are rly famous here.

Who knows? I also heard they were making a clip for Poetic Justice, and that freestyle was used before somewhere. I've heard it, so I think that this may have been a pieced together rumor.
