Food & Liquor vs Recovery

Postby Accor » Sep 17th, '12, 22:06

I'm not trying to provoke anyone. I just want to know which album Eminem fans think is BETTER.

Please explain your choice as well.

Recovery much more relatable lyrics better lyrics from a personal heart felt perspective, some of the best hooks ever much more catchy but only downside was the production and some of the punchlines

Food & Liquor, it had better production, a unified, cohesive sound, and it was lyrically and energetically amazing.

To be clear, Food & Liquor is undeniably better than Recovery, lyrically.

Other than that, I don't respect your opinion on anything so please don't post in my threads ever again.

Not respecting others opinion is immaturity an adult may not agree with another persons opinion but if they can't respect others opinion then that shows they a shallow, arrogant, insecure individual. Theres no point in creating a question asking for opinions if you can't agree with opinions that differ from yours homie.

Eminembase I ain't even gonna front you a good debater and articulate i have some opinions that differ from yours to be fair for the most part there is a lot of opinions that we have which are very similar we both like Em's creativity, his gift for melodies, his unique production, his exceptional writting. But the opinions we differ on i can respect your view cos you not immature. Others it's a diffrent story i don't even think the immaturity is so much hostility towards 1 invidual but it's kinda like lets just look at it simple if 1 style from a particular artist is more popular more awarded and acclaimed than their other style a person who likes the style less recognized, less popular, less at the forefront are gonna take out frustration.

It's simple Relapse people just have diffrent taste in music i listen to Eminem for diffrent reasons than you may very diffrent arguably it's not nothing complex but just humans have diffrent taste in so many things. I respect for example you like Relapse album but that is just not an album in majority that is appealing to me. It's nothing but diffrent tastes

I respect differing opinions, but I don't respect yours because you're a huge stan and will pick any Eminem album other than Relapse over any other album. I highly doubt you've even listened to F&L

Menzo wrote:I don't know, I liked them both. But why Recovery...and why F&L? Why not his most recent release?

Because F&L is considered by many rap fans to be one of the best rap albums of the decade. It's lyrics and concepts are critically acclaimed and I wanted to see what Eminem fans thought of it. A lot of you don't even consider Recovery a classic and yet it's winning.

I would not pick Encore over Lupes album either as well as not picking RElapse obviously 2 weakest albums which Lups is better than both. A Stan blindly praises every work their fave artist does i dont if i was a stan i would like every style of song Eminem does if i was a stan i would like Relapse. So i am objective i only praise what i consider is great music but when i think Eminem releases wack material i will call it that. A stan never does that

That isn't the only reason I don't respect your opinion on music though. You've said various times on multiple accounts that music is automatically better if it's heartfelt/personal and basically everything you can't relate to isn't very good.

But here's a question. You've said that Recovery isn't a classic because of the production/a few bad punchlines. So you don't think F&L is a classic? What drags it down in your opinion?
