That isn't the only reason I don't respect your opinion on music though. You've said various times on multiple accounts that music is automatically better if it's heartfelt/personal and basically everything you can't relate to isn't very good.

But here's a question. You've said that Recovery isn't a classic because of the production/a few bad punchlines. So you don't think F&L is a classic? What drags it down in your opinion?

It's a very good album not a classic but it's good this from a non Lupe fan too but credit has to be given when due and credit is deserved for it.. A song is not a classic just cos it's heart felt it has to be made well written well, the emotion has to be delivered from the soul, the beat and mixing and hook and flow has to all be on point theres no good having a heart felt song with out these aspects of a quality beat and quality writting.

Because F&L is considered by many rap fans to be one of the best rap albums of the decade. It's lyrics and concepts are critically acclaimed and I wanted to see what Eminem fans thought of it. A lot of you don't even consider Recovery a classic and yet it's winning.

Exactly...so, did you purposely do that so F&L had the potential to win? Why not compare Lupe's best work with Em's best work and we'll have a real poll :y:

Because I wanted to see if Recovery would win. It probably wouldn't on a rap based forum but I wanted to see if it would here. And it is.

TES/MMLP would blow out any other album in a poll on here so I don't see a point. I might do a best rap album poll though but I'd have to decide whether to include Eminem albums or not.

No it wouldn't. It wouldn't come close.

Anyways, I picked F&L because I love Lupe and don't like Recovery at all.

TBH no one really would know until a poll would happen....I only would say Recovery because he is the more popular artist and people that have not listened to F&L would just pick Recovery cuz its EM....

I've posted on a lot of Hip-Hop forums and whenever top album polls are done F&L always comes in the top 5, even beating TES and MMLP in some cases. Recovery has not once been included and outside of this forum it is generally disliked.

Probably the same reason rap fans don't like Lil Wayne?

I browse multiple rap forums as well. F&L would win.

A lot of the highest selling albums aren't very well liked in Hip-Hop circles. Teenie boppers and girls account for most of the record sales. The Carter IV was the highest selling album of 2011 but would you consider that a good album?

Okay...? Are you surprised?

This just looks like a tame attempt to exemplify the number of "blind Stans" and diss TR.

:-k At least, from an outsider's perspective.

Not really surprised, there are a lot of blind stans on this board lol. Take it as you want it.

I don't think Lupe could ever make an album anywhere near as classic and legendary as The Slim Shady LP, The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show these are some of the greatest albums ever. The Eminem Show is the greatest hip hop album ever so no rap artist has an album as great as that to be fair. Lupe doesn't have an album anywhere near as classic as those. Recovery is better than Food & Liquor imo.

Lupe i don't think is an Artist that is a talented Song Writter and overall Artist like Eminem which is a fact but it's not just Lupe there isn't a better song writter than Eminem the evidence is simple his albums like The SSLP, The MMLP, The Eminem Show, Recovery that he is the best song writter ever in hip hop.

atm, I pretty hate eminem, but food & liquor ... I prefer listening to justin bieber imo
wherever I go, recovery wins so I don't understand why he wants to say that we are blind stans :shifty:
(had to listen to a lupe fiasco album for the first time in my life, it was a torture)

Recovery is just a great album people aren't gonna pretend not to like an album they think is great just cos some people who don't feel the same about it just so they don't get called stans. Aside from the fans and it's success of selling 5 million just in the U.S. so far, the album also has been rated highly by critics let's not forget it did win a grammy. It's better as far as song writting than Lupes album that's the best aspect of Recovery it's writting and lyrics and including how well the hooks were written by Eminem too. Now even the biggest Eminem fans will admit Food & Liquer is better than Encore and Relapse but Recovery is a succesful album most fans and critics agree that it is great

I agree F&l doesn't have substance and lupe's a good song writter but eminem is the best he has the emotions locked on and on recovery hes amazing where as lupe fiasco was just a beginner on food & liquor i mean hes ok but hes not near ems level but hes better than that faggot gay z so yeah lupe is ok but no one in rap can touch eminem
