The reason 2pac is simply way better than Kanye is cos of 2pac's deep subject matter and emotions while Kanye has a lotta subject matter jut about materialsm and wealth Kanye unlike 2pac never experienced poverty or living in a poor enviroment Kanye grew up middle class, 2pac was a great rapper while Kanye is not even a good rapper but was a good producer, 2pac's catalouge kills Kanes so easily

lol don't want to be a fool coz I'm listening to kanye right now as he's one of these artists I listen to everyday, but why comparing a fucking great lyricist like biggie to kanye lOl, it's unfair homie, please let's stay in the game  :shifty:

btw, ppl comparing new generation to old generation, they seem to forget that some artists will be remembered as the greatests, can't see kanye in this category imo

It`s stupid to say that you don`t care about what Pac did, but Kanye, his contribution is important

Because Kanye's production/artistic vision pertains to his music? Tupac's legacy is mostly because he died.

Uhm, Tupac probably has more songs about weed/alcohol, woman, and wealth than Kanye does.

as a rapper, kanye can't be compare to the greatests in the game, I mean, I can't !
I love kanye, but imo, he's good/very good, still far away to be one of the very best.
saying ppl chose tupac because of the name or whatever is also biased :/

I hate biggie, rly hate him, but I can easily say that for me, biggie > kanye any day

So.. You like Kanye. You think he's great. And you hate Biggie. But somehow you've come to the conclusion that Biggie>Kanye? I think you're confused.

and I think you need to know that ppl can respect an artist because of his work when he has to release a song or an album.
biggie is rly rly great, one of the greatest of all time even if you don't agree.
its not because I hate him that I can't recognize the quality of what he has done.
sometimes we enjoy listening to bad music but still, we can enjoy it, we can like it but it doesn't mean the track is good though

I enjoy listening to we made you and I still think the track is meeeeh, I hate listening to biggie and still think he's in all another level than kanye.

we're going to say that lady gaga is a bad artist coz ppl from here don't like her :flutter:

Well look at the facts Eminem is a great producer because he is creative he actually creates beats from scratch actually makes his beats, where as Kanye samples old 70's and 80's soul music. Kanye mainly gets R&B singers to do his hooks on his songs where as Artists like Eminem sing the hooks them self Kanye only raps he don't sing where as Eminem does both rapping and singing and as i said produces original beats too.

Fact Recovery sold 5 million so far in the U.S. and has out sold any Kanye album, had 2 number 1 singles and won grammy awards and has sold over 8 million records worldwide so far and is 1 of his most succesful and fastest selling albums means he succeed with his album and the fact Eminem is 1 of the most emotional and this 1 of the biggest reasons his fans like his music proves he has succeded making music people relate to.

Who in the mainstream was Singing or Harmonizing their Hooks like Eminem has been in 2000, 2001 and 2002? what rapper with mainstream success was singing all their hooks 10 years ago like Eminem was for The Eminem Show album? then 10 years later we have rappers like Kid Cudi who do what Eminem was 10 years ago singing his hooks as well as others today so Eminem's influence is like no other. 10 years ago who was singing the hooks on their singles like Cleaning Out My Closet, Mockingbird, Superman? no 1 but Eminem yet today in the mainstream after Eminem did it influenced people like Kid Cudis style with the emotional style singing on every hook

yeah I know, but It's like Kurt Cobain, when you die you become a biggest legend.

But to me there is no comparison possible between 2pac and Kanye. No offense to the Kanye fans. Everyone is free to like what they want.

Kanye West doesn't put emotions on his songs? Please, just because he doesn't whine about the life in the ghetto (Not trying to diss Pac) it doesn't mean he doesn't put emotions. Don't forget his hit named "Heartless", the only reason why this song is not so good though is because of the weird autotuned voice that Kanye uses on this song, except for that - this song is emotional, try to ignore the autotune and listen to the lyrics.

I know he was a legend, all I'm saying is that when someone dies , the legend become bigger and bigger. See Kurt Cobain, James Dean...etc

Anyway Tupac > Kanye. Anytime , any moment. Different leagues.
