Well yeah, I'm 100% positive he's re-used some old lines before. In fact, wasn't the line from "W.T.P" about not needing a tank top to be a wife beater written on one of his MMLP era sheets?

I'm talking about having whole verses from his prime just lying around his house. His next solo could just be filled with old verses he decided to recycle to really make people feel like he brought his A-game, when in reality he's just spitting shit he wrote 10 years ago. Of course, we could never confirm this being true unless he admitted it himself in an interview or something.

It's not a bad thing, however I hardly believe he fishes through his piles and piles and piles of paper to find old lines he hadn't used before.

The first two verses of No Apologies is a prime example.

Man, I have this odd idea of Eminem being some sort of lyrical madman who has rooms in his house dedicated for storage of piles and piles of lyric sheets that he swims through to find a certain line and he files them in order of syllables and stuff.

I highly doubt he does much of that. That could have saved Encore...lyrically speaking.

Although I do wonder if those rare moments on Encore-the-song where he had some good lines ghost-written for Dre came from a notepad/scrap of paper from his pre-pills days.

But there's no way the corny punchlines he uses these days are recycled. These are in direct relation to having listened to Wayne/Kanye/Drake and convincing himself they're dope.

"I drop my pants everywhere I go/I keep count of every hair I grow/can't count every chair I throw."

For some reason, I can't see Eminem writing down these lyrics. They're too...simple.

The only line I could see Em writing would be the one about how his life is a movie. But still, these lyrics don't seem Prime Em-worthy...must have been written around the Encore days then...

Notice how he went from "Criminal in disguise who never dies" to "Villain in disguise who never dies and never runs out of bullet supplies". What were you thinking of Em...

Of course he fucking recycles. In Lighters when he does that corny switchblade line (switchblade/haters ribcage) he recycled that also, it was on a paper from the book

If anything, the fact that the "son of a bitch" punch line appeared in his early MMLP sheets is proof that he thought about using punch lines like that in the past, and decided not to. I'd like to think he decided not to use them because he thought they sucked/were lame...not that the SOB punch line sucks, I've just heard it too many times before to like it.

Also the way he writes is insane. It looks like it was written by several people. Sometimes he has 2 different ways to write an e in the same word. The writing sometimes is tilted to the left , sometimes to the right...an analyst would go crazy.

I think this could be because maybe he wasn't writing sitting with a desk in front of him.
Maybe he was in a car, standing somewhere, waiting for a plane or stuff like this, so that's why it isn't written tadily and it's all such a mess.

LOL yeah, and he uses two different ways to write A; he'll use lower case in the beginning of words sometimes and switch to capitals in the middle. Very odd.
