Good lookin' out but he needs to work on his acting skills i.e. face expressions, they don't transmit his mood and lyrics, and he looks like he lacks confidence (even though he doesn't sound like that). And when he said "that's you" when pointing at the mic, he looked like a faggot.

Word, but he probably was tired cuz he's on tour for weeks now or something because usually his "acting skills" are great. You might even think he's over-acting.

I think he dropped good "freestyle" verses tbh. And I agree about the "that's you" thing lmao.

That's good then, because I'm not really familiar with his work, plus I usually hate on people my age or younger :shifty: Joking, but yeah, the verses were fine, I don't have problems with the guy. And it was cool how he said that Em has killed that beat million times better than someone like him could ever do, and that beat should be left alone tbh. It's an offense for someone other than Em to rock on it. Or to be more specific, someone other than prime Em, because I wouldn't like to hear current Em to butcher it.

It's pretty obvious that no one can even think they can damage a beat like Eminem in his prime, let alone beats he rapped on lmao. From SSLP to TES, I'd say it's impossible to do better than Eminem on "his" beats.

Also, here's an official performance from MGK so you can see what I meant when I said he looked tired. haha. He's passionate.

Yeah, that's much better :y: :y:

Though I'd still say he needs to work on his eyes/eyebrows movement, I mean. I know this may sound like a retarded remark or something, but I kinda care about or moreover notice details like that.

Btw, I completely agree with this, his delivery back then was just godly.

Class is exactly the word I wanted to use tbh. BIG L was charismatic.

bigray wrote:WOOOOOO!!! That was really dope! MGK comes out hard on this....

See, MGK is not just the "Wild Boy" rapper. He's not just another Lil Wayne or Rick Ross guy, but you'll see when his album drops tbh. I think it's going to be a solid album.

His delivery was so good that all across the world people who don't even understand english loved his songs. That's saying something.

And he set the bar so high that many non-rap fans tend to compare rappers to Em or just being hard to impress (I'm speaking sonically, because they obviously don't care about and can't appreciate the lyrical part). I got my young cousin into rap, made him an Eminem stan, and this started when he was 11 (he's 13 now) and I always tell him to expand his library, and listen to other rappers, but nothing seems able to impress him enough because of Em, lol. Shit will change once he gets older though, obviously.

Was that an eminem platinum plaque or something in the background? Or just a poster? Either way that's pretty cool too.

Yeah, he has some mixtapes here and there though and one mixtape which made him blow up called "Lace Up" like the album. :y:

@Menzo and Fiftys_Advocate, dope! I hope you guys will listen to the album and like it. :y:

Can't blame him, I was the same. I think a lot of us started listening to rap because of Eminem, right? Eventually, he'll listen to some other rappers. :y:
