I never listen to music in my own language. Who the hell would like to listen to Croatian music? Might as well die naturally.

I listen to Spanish radio a lot, because I can usually understand about a third of the lyrics, enough to get the main idea.

^^ lol

of course since english is not my language and it depends of the songs but for rap songs i need to read the lyrics.

so it's always like that, i need to like the music or the beat first, after the voice and the delivery so if the lyrics are good too then that's great.

then i can't like a song just with good lyrics that makes sense of course.

so i can listen to bands/singers in all languages
I'm out of the matrix and I improved my music taste here, I opened my eyes and discovered so different ways to see the world, thanks to you all!

Basically I listen to rap songs in English all the time, then I love an "alternative rapper" named Caparezza from my country and that's the only italian music I listen to pretty often, aside from the songs that are famous here and that you usually hear on TV and on the radio and that I'm "forced" to listen to  .
But to answer your question, no. I don't listen any music in languages I don't speak/understand, because when I listen to a song I have to sing/rap, and I can't do that without even knowing a word.
The only time there was an exception was because I have a belorussian friend and he made me hear some russian hip hop, it was awesome, and even though I didn't understand a single word i bumped the songs he made me hear for a couple of days.

music is about more than lyrics, melody can be followed in any language, so i listen to anything as long as it is ear catching

Well, I actually listen to English songs everyday and English is not my native language and sometimes some French songs... So, yeah
It is not about lyrics anymore
It’s about a hot beat and a catchy hook

There was this one song I listened to when I visited Japan and was eating oyster chips that sounded very mysterious.

Ever known the lyrics to a foreign song without knowing what they mean? I used to sing "Du Hast"- wasn't even sure if I was getting the words right, just knew it sounded right to me. As for non-English flow, Ceza has sick speed rap. So does this Korean dude I heard once- if I recall correctly, he went by the name "Outsider" and could rap at a steady 13 syllables a second, topping out at 17 in short bursts.
