Only C4 sounds like Lil Wayne. He has a mixtape before that where he sounds normal. The K.Dot style wasn't heavily influenced by Wayne at all, only C4.

Oh, alright. Is C4 good then? I'd like to hear him over Let the Beat Build.

Lyrics are good, but it's just not that Kendrick feel (the voice) that I love. He was paying homage or whatever to Wayne (for whatever reason), and tried to imitate his voice. It's not Wayne's style, it's better, but the voice can be a problem on some tracks, but for the most part I enjoyed it. It's no where near as good as Kendrick Lamar - EP to the present doe.

I want to say : possible but nothing sure as the message from twitter was "indirect" :(
but he's on Jimmy Fallon on Oct 2nd and rumours say he'll release a single ( poetic justice or the lady gaga feat)

We don't really know, Kendrick said early copy is on Oct. 2nd in a tweet and that physical is 22nd, but I think he means pre-order by early. It's confusing, his tweets can be vague sometimes.

Yeah, both he and Dangeroo have said that the pre-order was coming the 2nd. They may have changed that to an early release at some stage but its not quite clear.

Nah, I'm glad hes on Aftermath AND releasing music. Shady wouldn't do him justice, he needs to be under Dre's microscope.

thanks god, can't imagine Kendrick Lamar on a Alex da kid's beat featuring Skylar Grey or a pop artist of 16 years old :coffee: WITH little PROMO ( or, please, find the name of that pig )

I think he would be very succesful if he was on Shady too we only have to look at the ridiculous amount of records 50 Cent sold under Shady, Obie Trice went platinum under Shady and D12 went platinum twice under Shady. Plus being on Shady would mean some Eminem fans would buy Kendrick's album with the fact he also makes good music and is influenced by Eminem. Em fans just didn't like Slaughterhouse or Yelawolfs music so they flopped but Em fans would support Kendricks music like how they supported 50, D12 and Obie Trice in the past.

Eminem doesn't care about kendrick, I mean, I can't see him putting effort in kdot's albums imo.

Kendrick doesn't need Eminem, plus this is no longer 2003. So, no Shady Records would be horrible. TopDawg Ent./Aftermath is where Kendrick belongs and should stay.

@Lance5, Eminem did say he liked Kendrick's music, but if Eminem won't even work on Yelawolf's album why would he work on Kendrick's? And, anyway, personally I don't want Eminem working on Kendrick's album anyway.
