None of These albums that went platinum or multi platinum on shady records had any features from Skyler Grey pr production from Alex Da Kid it was just Eminem or Dre producing them. So if it worked for 50 Cent, Obie Trice, D12 then it will sure work for Kendrick too. You can't take away the platinum plaques Obie, D12 and 50 got. Even The Re Up just a compilation sold close to 5 million now and that had people like Cashis on it.

Quit trying to ruin this thread with your shitty Eminem talk. This thread is about Kendrick, so leave.

Yeah Kendrick would sound great over some classic Eminem production imagine Kendrick over a classic Em produced beat like Till I Collapse, Warrior Part 2, Lose Yourself, Sing For The Moment, I'm Suppose To Die Tonight, Rap Name

indeed, eminem has produced great tracks, but as an executive producer, he isn't that good tbh.
You need more than a few beats to make a great album ;)

Well he Excutive produced Get Rich Or Die Tryin, The Massacre, Curtis, Before I Self Destruct, 8 Mile soundtrack, Cheers, Devil's Night, D12 World, The Re Up all these albums have either sold platinum or multi plat and musically are great albums with a few being classics he not only exceutive produced most these albums he also did the majority of production on most

he considers 50 cent as a real friend, 50 often sleeps at em's house ect, plus, 50 is also on aftermath man =p
D12 was his own group
what he has done with his other artists is almost pathetic tbh
His protege was obie trice and obie ain't that famous, struggling to make it imo.

I want eminem to focus on his solo albums, only way to have other classics from him.

The argument is more than solid who are Eminem fans even if it is just 25% likley to support and buy an album from more Kendrick Lemar a rapper that makes decent music and is much more marketable has some similarities to Eminem or Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf? the simple answer is Kendrick. 50 Cents last solo album is even close to platinum now so people can say 50 irrelevant but he still selling more than anyone not named Eminem or Lil Wayne.

Broadway can you stop bringing up Eminem in this thread? This isn't the thread to talk about Eminem's production skills. We're discussing Kendrick and his album, can you please leave? Goddamn.

You can't take away from the fact Obie Trice has platinum albums those are fact's what good is it being famous but not being able to say you have a platinum album? business is not about fame it's about recouping sales and getting plaques and as stated the facts are 50 Cent, Obie Trice and D12 have platinum plaques while someone like Beanie Sigel a good rapper but has never even gone platinum his entire career. What does D12 being Em's own group have to do with the fact he excecutive produced and produced both their platinum albums and made them rich and put plaques on their wall?

Shady records has sold a total of 26 million combined in total sales so far of albums released under Shady records. Every album to be released under Shdy records has gone platinum minimum with the exception of Radioactive and Our House that is very impressive name another label not Def Jam or Death Row that has around 26 million in total sales like Shady has?

after the 10 things you need to know about gkmc by "VIBE", here is "8 Things You Need To Know About Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d city Album"
not sure if it has been posted.

http://hiphopwired.com/2012/09/19/8-thi ... -a-d-city/

summary :
-The track prod by hit boy should go in the Clubs.
-The album is almost uncomfortably personal
-"The Kendrick Lamar/Drake/Janet Jackson Sampled record is a smash". This was a crowd favorite and was the last song played at the listening session.
-Kendrick Lamar almost has a Tupac-like obsession with death on some records
-Kendrick's vocal ability makes him sound like three people on one record
-Amazing Production
-Q-Tip, Dr. Dre, Just Blaze, Hit-Boy, and Soundwave were some of the confirmed producers from the tracks played last night
