I could ask the same thing about Atone posting the thread. It's an endless loop of 'why'. Why do we do anything we do? What drives us? Obviously a lack of affection in his home life, coupled with some sort of man-child disorder drove him to create this thread. While my insatiable need to point out others' shortcomings lead me to to post what I did.

Pity may represent little more than the impersonal concern which prompts the mailing of a check, but true sympathy is the personal concern which demands the giving of one's soul.

Is it sympathy or pity? Calling people's intentions to the light. When something doesn't directly affect us, why post as if it does? Isn't that more self-satisfying than anything else? It only serves to boost the ego and image of the poster as a 'good / kind / sympathetic person'

Are you guys serious right now? This is just as bad as some facebook whore posing nearly nude with a caption saying, "I'm ugly!!" It's attention seeking shit and TR has gone soft.

Honestly, who gives a shit if his mother left his father? Do you realize how many divorces there are every day? The dude is in his twenties, why the fuck is he living at home anyway? Once again not being a dick, we all know how it feels. My dad split twice and my mom almost died, yet I didn't go here after the first day, or at all. I kept it to myself and close friends.
