Hmm.. Kinda interesting.

The part where he says he'd feel bad if he made a song that was negative or didn't have anything positive in it... That shit scares me. Well, about his future music.

I really hope his direction with Knock Madness isn't going to turn into what it appears it might be.

Yeah I seen that Jokerr diss. It was spot on.. And if Hop truly feels that way about Rap and his career in it. Then it will show in time.

I hate to say it.. But if I feel Hopsin gets to preachy I will just flat out stop listening.. It would be ignorant for him to even try to take that stance at this point though but I wouldn't be surprised.

Lello wrote:It's ok for Lowkey and Lupe to mention islam, but it's bad for Hopsin to mention Christianity? the FUCK OUTTA HERE! It's not like he's reciting verses from the bible, all he's doing is sending out a good message, I guess if you don't rap about partying and being a badass all the time, you get bashed..

and lots of rappers rap about atheism and how they think religion is bad, now isn't that offending for Christians like me? it is offending, but I don't say shit cause it's freedom of speech, the same rule should apply for this case, stop giving Christianity all the double-standards

It has nothing to do with him not being allowed to do it. Of course he can talk about christianity and god if he wants, it's a free country. We just think it's lame and stupid and don't want him to do it.

Nothing wrong with being religious. I just hope Hop realizes he can be a positive role model without involving religion. Religion has a tendency to alienate people and might be counterproductive to his true goal of being a positive influence.

Another thing that annoys me is that Hop's label houses Dizzzy Wright, Jaren Benton; and Swizzz... or should I say Wiz Khalifa, Tyler the Creator, and Lil Wayne..? Come at me.

A lot of aimless shock value stuff. No artistic direction besides attempts at controversy
. Benton is boring in my pin onion.

And I'm not saying they don't have good songs, or are bad necessarily. Not the point, it's just funny they represent everything Hop claims he doesn't, and are housed and supported by his label. Not that I even care, but with Hop on preach mode it just makes him look a little hypocritical.

Lello wrote:Hopsin doesn't really mention religion a lot btw, Ill Mind of Hopsin 5 has a good message to anyone of any religion, he did not mention anything specific, the song has a great positive message, and I don't know why he's getting shit for that. Kill *****, Smoke Weed seems to be the message everyone wants from rappers nowadays, then complain about lack of substance.. pfft

and Hopsin tweeted that we are being brainwashed to not believe in god, which makes it seems as if he's talking about the Higher-Ups trying to fulfill their purposes, and MANY MANY rappers, rap about conspiracy theories, and all they get is props from it, but Hop gets bashed

he said that he's trying to follow in the steps of Jesus, that's the only time he mentions something specific in religion, I don't know why everyone's acting like he's a priest now or something.

I think it's just due to the fact that people don't want to hear anything about religion. I mean remember when Jesus Walks had came out and people were kinda slighting Kanye about it? Now you go back and many people go "Damn, that Ye track doe... DAT TRACK DOEE!!".

Hop just needs to do it in a way where it's not corny, doesn't alienate majority of his fan-base, and brings the positive message in an artistic and different light. It's possible. Let's wait for another Knock Madness single. Plus we can't assume that Hop's gonna make an almost gospel-like album... I mean the man made Hop Madness and made it a single, right? lmao (Yes I'm aware it's not one ANYMORE, but still.)

Fuckin gay interview. Hopsin is fucking idiot, preaching about brainwashing and is getting brainwashed himself by all that religious bullshit. What a faggot.
He needs to open his eyes and look the world like it really is and stop trying to convert people to his bullshit religion (im not muslim neither cos that's bullshit aswell).
Fuck this interview watched the first 6 minutes and then i just couldnt watch it anymore.

It's disappointing. I really struggled to get through that interview.

I'm still hoping for a top quality album, but what's more concerning to me than the 'god talk' is the apparent loss in passion he has for rap now.

The album will still be good no doubt, but it could've had the potential to be a classic once upon a time.

I think he's losing his core fan base and sprouting a new one. I guess that's what usually happens when you blowup.
I'm not tryin to be rude, but I sincerely wanna fuck the taste out of your mouth
