50 made In Da Club a hit.

D12 would have made into a forgettable song

D12 should be dwindling in obscurity, for being a fake hip hop group that contributed nothing to the genre.

Oh, wait. They already are.

Good.

Oh, I forgot, this is North Korea. No negative comments about Dear Leader allowed.

So yeah, let's credit a shitty weed carrier "group" for a hit 50 Cent / Dr. Dre song...that D12 did not write or produce or perform on or have anything to do with. Makes a lot of sense.

I'm sure 50 Cent is reallllllllllly grateful for Eminem's weed carriers. They hold a special place in his heart.

In Da Club is a classic.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

I never knew that, it was probably for the best tho. Nothing D12 would have done with that beat would have matched where 50 took it. I'm not the worlds biggest 50 fan either but that song is a classic club banger that still gets spun here and there today.

Yeah I know, and I never argued against that. It's quite obvious D12 thought it'd be in better hands with 50, but my point is that he should be grateful because D12 was:

1. Nice enough to give up the beat
2. Let 50 hear their version
3. Give him permission to take Proof's flow.

Because that song propelled his career / success by a lot.

Yeah no doubt, most other artists would have kept it for themselves. 50 Lucked out with "Candy Shop" also, Fat Joe was suppose to be on that. I remember way back in an interview with him on Hot 97, he said Scott Storch played him that beat and he passed on it for the "Lean Back" beat instead

In Da Club WAS a classic and 50 made it so.

D12 is nothing, forever.

If you want me to say some positive things about Shady Records, tell them to put out some material that doesn't suck.

And no, Hillbilly Twista isn't The One.

Recovery, Hell:The Sequel, BISD, Relapse were quality numbnuts! Even Welcome To: Our House was quality to me but if your ignorant ass wanted to say Radioactive is wack then I won't argue.

I could never picture D12 on a party record like that, so I am eternally grateful they passed it on to 50.
They might even get royalty checks from it, so essentially even if D12 weren't as well known or didn't have that type of hit song, they are still infamous.
And paid.
