Umm yes? You're an idiot if you think any rational human would choose disappearing forever and ceasing to exist over going to heaven with all your loved ones for eternity.

I disagree with this. A lot of atheists would prefer there not to be a god.
Christopher Hitchens book is called God is Not Great, lmao.
He often states that he wouldn't want it to be true.
It's because the Christian god is a dictator who can punish you for what you think.
I kinda agree with Hitch, the idea of a god doesn't sound too appealing at all.

Lol.
I've seen you argue, you're literally the biggest waste of time on the forum - always have and always will be, what you said was wrong but I'm not gonna bother with you because you'll just respond with disagreement and a complimentary "lulz".

We weren't arguing, but okaaaay Gollum.
But if I have to disprove your point, I'll say that there are a lot of people who don't like the idea of a god. They're uncomfortable with thinking their purpose in life is to appease to an omnipresent deity. I know people like that, my cousin is like that - therefore your acceptance on being the speaker of mankind is 100% wrong.
And believing in God / a god / a creator isn't connotative with Christianity's advertised afterlife - you're interweaving two different concepts. You can believe in God / a god / a creator but disagree with the way it is presented - in fact, I've seen people here say that.
I obviously didn't mean 100%, there are obviously exceptions. And I'm not making broad statements, I'm talking about Christianity. You said that people don't feel god because they don't want to believe in him and I'm saying that's ridiculous. The vast majority of atheists started out as Christians (in america), which means they did believe in him their whole childhood. Why did they not "feel" him then? Did they just wake up one day and decide they didn't want a god to be real so they stopped "feeling" him? It's all very stupid.
Menzo wrote:You're just...guessing, speaking hypothetically. To say you think religious people would still fight despite concrete evidence disproving God's existence is as baseless as me saying if we had even more evidence supporting God's existence, atheists would still try to disprove.

Actually, that's not true at all. That's like saying the odds of winning the lottery are 50-50, you either win or you lose. Two sides.
