I really, really don't know where did you get that idea. Slaughterhouse is respected amongst rappers, and no one considers them like a shit group except like let's say Canibus who had a beef with them.
People consider them as great lyricists, especially Joe Budden, but they have a "good reputation" in the rap game.

Black Hippy members said they love Slaughterhosue and they are great lyricists even before signing to Aftermath. Where did you get that from?
