I think Pusha T is a great lyricist, I enjoy his music.
He outshines everyone (even Kanye at times), because of the simple fact he values lyricism more than 2 Chainz or Big Sean or whoever those cats are.
For example, "Mercy" is a decently structured, but each verse seems to lower the standard G.O.O.D is supposed to set with someone like Pusha T.
I only really like Crooked I, strickly because he's not making a dick joke ever second line (*cough* Royce) and is respectable both as a person and an MC.
Either way, I think that the only person in that group a match for Slaughterhouse would be Pusha, tbh.

Slightly on-topic but Crooked I is nothing but rhymes.

As one young man said; Crooked couldn't make a good song to save his life.

So on Goodbye, Rescue me and Welcome to our House what would you call those versus from Crooked?

the majority of his discography is one dimensional.. rhyming and bad punchlines. he has like 10 or so songs where he's actually saying something but the verses are decent/good at best.. what exactly makes him a great lyricist again? o and btw his verse on loud noises sucks lol

mos def, common, q tip, kanye, and pusha are much better lyricists than crooked I. also lol at saying royce could outrap mos def :'''(

Other than a couple trash rappers, they're better than Slaughterhouse except for Joey maybe.
Everyone here knows I don't like Kanye or his music at all, but facts are facts.

The better question would be, how long do you think Slaughterhouse would stand on their feet before they bow to Mos Def when they're in the same room as him?

Dude you're so biased to Budden, every post you make regarding Slaughterhouse, you blow his skills out of proportion and make him seem like he's one of the greats.

revolutionary, good music's artists aren't known to be good rappers in the hip hop community except 2-3 of them who are good at best.
read an article last month, saying that good music's fans were often teenagers of 17/18(well, most of them are 15/16) discovering hip hop with that label. will try to find that article, it was interesting.

but seriously, I don't even know why you guys are trying to explain that shit, kanye and co are good artists, but not known to be one of these "really" good rappers. they are good at best.
And again, ppl gonna whine and lame, saying their favorite artists are dope as fuck :flutter:

On the other hands, SH members are better rappers if we're talking about technical rap, but as artists, they are miles behind good music artists

I have never heard that kanye west or another rapper from his clique was a potential "greatest rapper of all time", In fact, I have never heard such things except from their fans :shifty:

Dont be some fucking Biased...Good Music reminds me of TNA or WCW, they take past stars from WWE and they just sign unwanted talent or artists that have past there prime and have fell off.

Q-tip is not a great lyricist, Common is good I agree and so is Mos Def but lyric for Lyric any SH member would embarrass them.

I know what it consists of :)

what you have said about pusha T is all about opinion, it's not even shared by the hip hop community, so let's say that nobody know anything about hip hop right ?

I can only agree for mos def and common, and that's all.
Common is known as a legend ( well, not for everybody but ehhh, let's say so) and mos def is far from a potential GOAT but still a great rapper :) in fact, this is pretty much the opinion of the rap community, but what you have said for pusha and q-tip, not rly dude, it's your musical tastes tbh.
if pusha-t was the definition of the hip hop,it would be a sad yyyyyyear

kanye is better than these 2 dudes, and by far even if he isn't a rly rly good rapper

What is this "rap community" you keep speaking of?

Pusha has been co-signed by EVERYONE.

we don't have the same definition of EVERYONE.

@Almostlity :facepalm
didn't you buy those kanye's nikes he created ? wouldn't surprise me :facepalm2

class, lol wtf dude, nice bullshit
dont' need to be the voice of a community, you should read more articles or whatever you want, pretty sad to read that some of you talk about your musical tastes as #facts

you guys are talking about different GOAT everytime, that's funny :flutter:

jsut need to go out, listen to interviews, read article, forums, talk to people, you are all acting like good music artists are on the highest level just because you like them =o ( well not you since we know you don't even like some of them)
belgium has nothing to do with it, that was a nice joke :facepalm2

wtf with ppl saying good music artists are legends because ppl from trshady or ktt are fans of them ?
