French Montana says beef is bad for business when it comes to 50 Cent, comments on the past beef between Lil Wayne and Pusha T.

G-Unit head honcho 50 Cent is no stranger to beef, from a good natured album sales battle with Kanye West to his past, turbulent riffs with former G-Unit members including Game and Young Buck, beef has always seemed to makes it way to the Queens rapper.

While 50 Cent may not be too concerned with his past issues with artists, fellow New York City spitter French Montana recently spoke on Fifty’s rap beef being bad for business and the reason why he believes Rick Ross has become more successful than the rapper.

“I feel like beef hurt him. I feel like it helped Ross unite people,” Montana explained during an interview with Complex.com. “That’s why Maybach Music is one of the biggest labels. It just makes sense…Of course, Ross is on his fifth album. And like I said, he’s only getting bigger. This is going to be Ross’ first platinum album. He never went platinum. So when 50 came up, 50 sold 10 million. Then after his first album he just kept on going down. You think 50 could come out and sell 10 million now?”

The “Stay Schemin” rapper took somewhat of a contrary view when speaking on the past beef between G.O.O.D. Music artist Pusha T and Young Money’s Lil Wayne, stating that the issue between those two artists was “good” for Hip Hop.

“For some people it’s competition for them. It’s good for hip-hop…Yeah. Pusha T and Lil Wayne's [beef] ain’t nothing serious,” said the rapper. “If Wayne feels like [it’s real beef] then you know Baby would have got involved. Things like that, it’s good for hip-hop. If nobody got shot, it ain’t beef.”

Although an exact date has yet to be revealed, French Montana still plans on releasing his debut album Excuse My French before the year is up.

That's 100% true and you know it.

Except no rapper could sell 10millions now. But I agree, beef hurt him mentally and on the business side.

Though with the right promotion, he'd do Ross's numbers and even y'all know it. If New Day was pushed and had a video, it would've been everywhere.

However, fif and his label won't ever come to an agreement.

And how is that even relevant to this thread. Sounds to me like you're the shit disturber here because I didn't even insult you on the stupidity you displayed from OP because I didn't want to start shit here. Oh well...

Says the one that bashes other's opinions the quickest.

Back on topic, it's obvious 50 Cent has been black balled in the industry and by his own label. He's had too much beef and it has dramatically affected his music career. Oh, and New Day was promoted...On ESPN multiple times. It still didn't push big numbers.

Lol it didn't even get a video gtfo. New Day was played because it was catchy and because it's three big artists, it barely got promoted. No performance, no video, nothing.
