I smoke weed every single day. In fact, all day every day. If I am not at work, Uni or the gym I am getting high.
I think a lot of studies about weed are wrong because they blame the drug for things that I think come down to the person, such as:
Addictiveness- I certainly have a habit of smoking AND I mix my weed with cigarettes so there is a slight physical addiction but I have stopped cold turkey in the past and go away for holidays and what not without it, something a cigarette addict would never do.
Laziness/Lack of motivation- I think lazy people like the idea of lying around spending the day getting baked... Not that weed makes people lazy. The "stoner" lifestyle is attractive to someone with no ambition. To say weed makes you lazy is also incorrect. Like I say, I work full time, study part time and exercise.
Depression- People say it causes depression or psychological decline, and again I disagree. I think people with depression (or who are prone to depression) are drawn to mood altering drugs whether its weed, alcohol, pills, whatever. I do not think marijuana causes depression, but it is desirable for those who are already depressed or on their way to becoming depressed.
Munches/Paranoia/Psychosis- Get your fucking shit together.
I acknowledge that breathing smoke is harmful, but you can vaporize marijuana and remove a lot of carcinogens found in smoke. How much of the negative effects of smoking marijuana come from the fact that is is SMOKE, not necessarily marijuana smoke? Probably a lot.
