Yeah that's why I didn't like it. His flow seemed much more basic, no interesting delivery or stand-out lines, less personality. I like his first two albums but I prefer post-Late Registration Ye a lot.

I don't really hate it, I don't feel anything for it, it's out of my mind already... it didn't impact me in the slightest. It's not that his verse on "Clique" was so amazing, but it was still entertaining I think, and this song wasn't entertaining or, anything, to me.

I just find it boring.

It seems to me, that with Ye... a lot of people appreciate, his... original form, kind of like with Em. It's like, if it has a soul sample and Ye is rapping a rambling flow about loved ones or women or struggle, it's suddenly amazing, but I just find it uncreative.

He sounded like 'College Dropout' Ye on this. And that isn't really great, because he's evolved so much, in much more interesting directions since then, so like I say; it felt like a step back.

It's okay, I mean, it's not BAD, his rapping isn't bad, it's not bad music, I just find it boring. And for Ye, I find it underwhelming and in fact, Ima go bump the shit out of WTT right now because I'm a bit tipsy and I feel like rapping those badass verses the fuck along with.

I still haven't listened to Cruel Summer properly. All I've heard is the singles, and I've had the album sat there for a while; so it's a miss then?

Maybe Cruel Summer is Ye's first true misstep. As since his first album he's been on an amazing creative climb that seemed to have no limits, I've never seen a rapper do that many albums one after the next that successively build on the last, with no real flops (creatively)...

I don't ever feel there's a peak to Ye because he has such varied interests, and is such a critic himself, and keeps re-defining what he does... but maybe he did recently max himself out. I mean, we did get MBDTF and WTT within the space of a year...

Hopefully he's focused on his next solo album now, and I hope it's not a return to 'old Ye' as has been suggested by some light insider reports because, the great thing about Ye, like Em, is that you always expect an evolution, so I hope he doesn't try and appease lovers of his old sound by doing that now, as he never stops expanding, I can't wait to see what he does next.

WTT was great, but I'm not hyped about a #2, I'd rather see a solo.

The closest thing we'll probably get to "old school Ye" are some soul samples, but his lyrics are really taking a step forward. I'm pretty sure he's focused on his solo but I feel as if he's wasting too much time with Kim as well. I'm happy for him, but we all know what'll happen if Kim and him break up - another 808s & Heartbreak. I'm not saying that album is bad by any means, but like you said, I really want to see Kanye keep progressing.

As for "White Dress", don't look into it too much. I guess Kanye was just set on making a song like that and he did it. His album material will hopefully blow his last release - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - out of the water.

He is a great producer though. He's sort of unique in that regard.

I might not know him enough, but I feel like you can transplant a verse from any song into any other and it wouldn't sound any different or out place.
