It's a group of rappers spitting lyrics live to a camera, to a beat. It's a cypher.
All the rappers write their shit at Cypher's, just because they're playing off each other doesn't make it not one. Point is the quality of these guys vs. rappers at BET is laughable.

Yeah, but I think his main point was that the writing of each individual verse in this pre-recorded music video is better than the writing in the live performance cypher.

I know but I don't think it's really fair to compare the two, they're two completely different things.
And I also agree with you, I didn't think the rapping was that good at all. It just sounded like 4 Crooked I knockoffs using a lot of rhymes but not saying much and being very boring.
