Yeah, but I think his main point was that the writing of each individual verse in this pre-recorded music video is better than the writing in the live performance cypher.

I personally didn't think much of it (this thread's video that is, I haven't seen the BET one). They're not saying anything interesting and they don't really have personalities.

I'd normally agree, and I often knock rappers who aren't saying anything, and it's definitely about having an identity too and not just being multi bots... but just this particular grouping, I found it enjoyable, just because it's so smooth and packed.

I like extreme, and they definitely packed those rhymes and flows together tight as a mother fucker, but yeah, it's not like it's truly lasting or unique.

I do sometimes just like senseless rhyming for the sake of it too, just as like a test of boundaries, like how tight and insanely packed and intricate can you make it; and I think if more did that now and then, it would force others to step their game up to not sound so shit.

In terms of music I'd listen to regularly, it definitely needs to have content, but I still find this as a sort of, sport, enjoyable. I'm just talking about the first guys with Crook though, the others after that were kinda weak, and boring.
