It depends on the producer...it's no different than buying guest verses from rappers. The bigger the producer the most the beat costs.

Dre did sold for 500k, so as Timbaland, when Justin, Furtado was the shit. Storch around 125k. Em never charged anyone, did it for the game.

Depends entirely on the producer's credits. For example, Dre pulls a lot because of the type of beats Dre makes, and the classic songs his beats created the canvas for. Compare that with a newer guy like Hit-Boy or KaneBeatz or the like, their payroll is naturally smaller. Usually, the better you get, the more money you'd most likely make. Also depends on the type of beats that producer is known for. How well a beat is mixed also tends to increase the price on a beat.

I don't think it's the same for every rapper, Rae got a Dre beat 3 years ago and i'm sure as hell he didn't pay 100k, let alone 500k

Just like how it is with rappers, I don't see unpopular/non-rich rappers paying Wayne a lot of money for a verse.
I said Wayne because he hops on anything.

I remember Tech N9ne saying he didn't charge Wayne to be on Fuck Food and Wayne didn't charge him for his Interlude on Wayne's album. He said when he (Tech) collabs with people he does it out of love and doesn't charge them.
