Dope! I've been vaguely keeping up with Sydney FC, they've lost their first two games I think but Del Piero scored a sweet free kick in the second game.

How was it? I'm lucky enough to have seen him play in 2010 against Fiorentina in Toronto, I skipped school to drive and see the game.

Yeah I'm from Wellington and was temporarily in the Wellington Phoenix academy. My former teammate played against him though, and scored a sweet header.

Del Peiro was pretty sweet. He showed touches of class but didn't really get involved that much in the game.

I don't think it's fair to say he's been rubbish the whole season. He's had a few very good games. He wasn't great today, but he wasn't awful either.

We do need to grab a new striker, though. Torres and Sturridge just isn't enough depth.
