They started off their careers at around the same time and are commonly referred to as some of the greats, if not weird, then definitely cool.

It's because artists are starting to be exposed earlier and earlier now.

Drake is like 24 along with Big Sean MGK and Kendrick who are in similar age groups.

That's why it might be weird to see that they started out so late looking back at it now.

Or did you mean that it's cooincidental that they are the same?

well the first song i heard from him was during the 2004 world series. 'lose yourself' would play all the time. and then after that my mom had a 'now thats what i call music' CD and it had 'mockingbird' on it. after that i looked up more of his music and now im a huge fan haha
