KRIT's discography is stunning. Are you sleeping on him?

Postby OMEGA » Oct 22nd, '12, 06:25

So around June I saw the album cover of Live from the Underground and thought it looked dope as fuck, so it got me intrigued. A couple days later, and as some kind of divine sign, Amazon was selling a bunch of good albums for $0.99, with the aforementioned LFTU being one of them. I downloaded it, I put it on my iPod, I listened to it during a bus ride. What else can I say, as soon as I finished my mind was completely blown.

Isn't it amazing when you discover a new artist, and his/her music immediately clicks with you? That happened to me with KRIT. The dude's music is such a fresh air and it's the exact type of stuff I dig: strong content, insane production, fantastic delivery, etc. Overall, I can confidently say that Big KRIT is the most balanced, complete new artist out there; he's a true musician.

I think I have seriously listened to LFTU over a 100 times, and the CD is still incredible from top to bottom. So since I liked the album so much, I started downloading his older material. First it was 4evanaday, Return of 4eva, and Krit wuz here. Basically I went in reverse. My mind continued to get blown away; these 3 mixtapes are phenomenal as well. I seriously have a hard time thinking about an artist that has dropped 4 consecutive albums where I like every single song on them.

I don't want to make this huge since nobody's going to read it, but I think that people are missing out big time if they haven't dedicated time to discover KRIT's discography. With an artist of this quality, it would be a shame if he doesn't get the recognition he deserves. So, since I know people are lazy, I decided to do this:

I put together 10 songs that I think are key, from all the 4 KRIT albums. Download these 56MB's of goodness, and if by the end of the 10 songs you are still not a believer, give me your paypal account and I'll deposit 10k there (or more simple, you should be ashamed of your taste in music.)

Anyway, here's the tape I've named Hits 4 Eva:

Download

Tracklist:

1 - Victorious
2 - I Got This
3 - Country Shit Remix
4 - American Rapstar
5 - As Small as a Giant
6 - Boobie Miles
7 - My Sub
8 - Time Machine
9 - My Sub P.II (The Jackin')
10 - The Alarm

Download this hot shit ASAP and, if you haven't already, enjoy discovering one of the greatest artists of our times.

My Sub pt. II is on this? I find that to be seriously one of his worst songs.

Wat?
Song is excellent. It captures the essence of the LFTU cover-art perfectly. Also the production is flawless.

Also saying that any KRIT song is one of KRIT's worst songs would be like saying that a handjob is slightly less satisfying than a blowjob.

Handjobs fucking suck. And so can some of KRIT's songs.

I love him, though.

He's definitely slept on. Talented MC, talented producer, and he takes pride in his work. That's why I love his music.

Zzzzzzzzzzz
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.
