And I agree with Katy Perry's album cover.

This is also the Hip-Hop domain and you just agreed with an opinion on a pop album cover. That's also not what this topic is about.

No reason to get technical.

I don't really like Em's covers, but GKMC has a terrible one lol. I posted it on fcbk and everyone asked me why I would put a bunch of black kids looking all weird and stuff.

I liked Lasers cover. Simple, yet effective. Dope.

Don't mind this thread.

One of my main problems with Hip Hop is lack of creativity when it comes to album artwork. There's usually a generic photo of the rapper and that's it. Absolutely dreadful, and hip hop is pretty much the only genre to do it.

Some of my favourties:

You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having

Just such a perfect juxtapose. Slug looks so far from what the title is suggesting.

Slim Shady LP
Image
Captures the album pretty perfectly. A picture of him dumping his wife's dead body but then contrasting with bright, colourful cartoon letters.

Illmatic
Image
Pictures of kids is overdone now - which is a pity. But Nas was the first to do it. His demeanor looks so similar to his adult demeanor which is pretty awesome in this photo.

@Geno-nothing, it just looks a bit gay to me.
Blu you are becoming annoying. "We have our reasons..." you sound stupid. GKMC cover is nothing special, the worst cover posted in this thread if you ask me. You clearly said it just to get a reaction from members. I`m sure you didn`t even mean that. And if you did, who gives a fuck.

@Fleka and everyone else

Image

Captures the album's story line perfectly. The van is present in nearly every song. It's a big part of Kendrick's life, and a big part of the album as well.

Showing what a nice kid Kendrick used to be before all his hoodrat friends from Compton got him doing reckless shit. Listen to "The Art Of Peer Pressure".

Lol that's cool. I'm not really big on album covers unless they're extremely incredible.

The Slim Shady LP depicts "97 Bonnie & Clyde" yet you show no love for it Blu, why is that? They both have a story behind but it seems that you'd like to ignore it. Imma stop here
