What's the story behind that^

a guy (dante) is reaching out to his mother for money, prayer, peace of mind and sympathy but she blocked the phone lines so he cant get in touch with her. the hook is focused on dantes struggles in life. the last verse is in the point of view of dantes mom explaining why she isnt getting his calls. she explains how she is testifying against him to help him. she would rather see dante locked up in prison than dead and how she is doing it for his own good though he doesnt see it that way.
