He wanted to release several EP of detox a few years ago but Iovine didn't want =/

ppl usually think dr dre is free to do whatever he wants but in fact, no, he isn't that free =p
Some dj khalil's friends or even dre's friends confirmed it =p ( not in public though)

Dr dre is free to produces whatever he wants, but he isn't free to release whatever he wants :shifty:

At first, dr dre wanted to release several Detox EP's (volume 1,2,3...), it was supposed to be one EP/month but Interscope didn't allow him to do that shit. (Jimmy ?)
Later, there were internal problems, Dre produced beats but he couldn't release them.

Every beats you can hear from dre are either LEAKED for a while or rly old beats > Bishop, mixtape's songs (Game, T.I.), New day (yes, 1-2 years old beat !)
and Even if you enjoy some other beats, these are Dr Dre's worst beats > Xzibit (some ppl even heard that beat a few years ago...), obie trice

Game promised some Dre's beats but dr dre keep saying " didn't have time to master it", well, the man has been mastering it since 2010 ... you'll never hear it except if Dre is allowed to release it. :unsure:

Nelly and Dipset also said that the interscope staff didn't allow Dre to give them his production.

Dr Dre is a lazy ass and a horrible human being, that's a well known fact. He doesn't release anything because he doesn't want to, using the Interscope excuse with him doesn't work man.. He produced the whole Relapse album. Why couldn't he produce or release anything else?

Because he's scared of a flop, he knows how times are hard and he knows he wouldn't sell a lot. He can release whatever he wants to.. He's bringing enough money to Iovine with the headphones.

relapse was another story.
Eminem was known as the best rapper alive at that time, he was the biggest seller so I think interscope allowed him to do his own stuff for his comeback.
If Dr dre was scared (or even lazy), then why did he produce the whole relapse album ?
It worked but we're talking about Eminem, he has sold a lot of copies during that relapse era but it wasn't enough, not for an artist like Eminem.
Relapse wasn't even well received by his fans at that time.
I rly think interscope wanted that p!nk and rihanna (and maybe wayne) features, Eminem had to sell more and more copies, like he did back in the days.
ppl rly think Eminem wanted to release these rap-pop songs ? ofc he has changed, but come on, not like that in one year !
Eminem was asked to see other producers and the promo was also completely different.

Dr dre isn't rly free to do what he wants =p I'm sure of that =p
some beats producers we're talking with on other forums have been told by DJ Khalil that dre wasn't as free as we would like to believe =p

The man had to do a song on a Alex da kid's beat...

Kdot and Dr dre recorded 30 songs together (TOGETHER, so he isn't as lazy as you think) kdot also played a song prod by Dre during the listening sessions but as you all know, the songs prod by dre aren't in GKMC :shifty:

You can't say he's lazy when every rapper confirms they have recorded so many songs with Dr dre :unsure:
