Why When There Is A Greatest Rapper Alive Debate No One Says

Rakim. I'm just thinking when people debate and I've been in the debates, no one mentions Rakim. Im 19 and i dont hear people my age mention Rakim. People mention Jay, Em, Nas, Kanye and others but I never hear Rakim. He is the God MC. Every rapper ever is influenced by him. Why doesn't anyone mention him? In my best rapper alive list he is 1 with Em 2 and Nas 3.
