I haven't heard GKMC yet but based on it's response I have a hard time believing that it is as bad as Recovery.

but let's be honest, on a pop level, recovery > gkmc

gkmc isn't overrated, ppl don't say "gkmc is a classic because everybody says its a classic"
that makes no sens... you were all saying "gkmc is going to fail, gkmc won't be talked as a classic, he won't sell more than 80k but now, everybody is buying the album and a lot of ppl lsitened to it several times and can't stop bumping the album.

I think this album is great, but it seems a lot of people got their lips wrapped around Kendricks dick, I mean for real enough already we know the album was a masterpiece but geez take it easy.

If your skipping songs on GKMC your doing it wrong Though I hear some people are editing out the skits at the beginning of the songs, talk about having the lyrics and concept going just straight above someones head.

Everything about GKMC is better than Recovery and it really is much more focused, coherent, and consistent than SSLP, maybe Eminem Show. I know a lot of people here will probably never feel that way, those albums have a habit of bonding with angst ridden teens who then grow up, and tend to grossly overrate them, proclaiming them as contenders for greatest albums of all time. Eminem Show especially tends to fall victim to this.

I love both albums...I think it depends on who you like more. In that case I'd case Recovery. GKMC is the best album for me since Recovery though, by far.
