TES is still dope, though. As are the beats.

I don't find Eminem's work to age well. It's already better than Recovery, Relapse, Encore, and Infinite. We'll see how good kid, m.A.A.d city ages.

How the fuck does GKMC outshine any Em album, besides Infinite and Encore? (And I personally like Encore 1000x more than GKMC). seriously. MMLP > TES > Relapse > SSLP >> Recovery > Encore > GKMC IMO.

And I don't count infinite. I only play 4 songs, and even those are rarely played.

Better watch out before someone calls you a Stan on an Eminem forum. :zipped:

this is fucking wrong

it outshines recovery because kendrick isn't saying things like

"shake that ass like a donkey with parkinson's"
"quit playing with the scissors and shit, and cut the crap"
"don't let me introduce you to my power tool you know the fucking drill"
"you can get the dick, just call me the ballsack I'm nuts"

Do I have to explain why it's better than Encore? Why do you prefer Encore? Do you enjoy incoherent nonsense about chickens and justin timberlake and how his mom had a baby and its head popped off?

Jesus Eminem's last 3 albums aren't even in the same league as gkmc

Oh wow, you guys found a new way to bash Eminem. His beats don`t age well? Really!?
I will not go into this argument, it`s all just a matter of taste, no one can win this. But, Eminem has managed to leave me speechless with his songs and albums. Kendrick didn`t. None of Kendricks songs come close to Stan, Lose Yourself, SFTM or The Way I Am, in my opinion.
GKMC or Section.80 are not better than TES, MMLP, SSLP or Relapse, in my opinion.

And, the dude that said that Without Me`s beat sucks, what the fuck are you talking about? Just as stupid that "Stans" can get with their blind admiration for everything Em does, saying that Without Me is only good in acapella version is even more stupid. Songs are defined by the bet, lyrics and delivery. If they are good now, they will be good in 20 years from now.

Thanks Accor for saying my opinion is wrong. Just thought I'd like to point out that its an opinion. Prick.

And I enjoy Encore. I find it to be a classic. Not the best, no way, but still. For me it's got replay value, the beats are dope, it was the first Em material I had ever heard, etc.

Also, good job for putting the bad parts of recovery/encore in the limelight, and not showing any good moments about them. Biased muhfucka.

Seriously. How can you be perfectly fine with saying someone's opinion is wrong? Arrogant fuckdick.

And you said his last three albums aren't up-to-speed with GKMC, yet didn't mention relapse? Relapse was some really lyrical shit if you can get over the step-dad incest and serial killing, but that was basically the album's concept. And it had some touching Emo songs like Beautiful with an air if depression to it, or Careful What You Wish For, with the same basic thing, but sprinkle in some frustration too.

I'm not gonna lie, I think GKMC is trash. That being said, I'm not gonna say your opinion is wrong. That makes me look like an ass, just the same way it makes you look like one. (Except it seems I'm disagreeing with the hive mind, which doesn't always go down well).

TL;DR? Your attitude is shit and it's stinking up the place.

So something with dope beats and replay value = classic? Oh alright.

Well, I mean yeah, obviously. I was showcasing why lyrically, GKMC is better than those albums. There's a lot more of those examples too which I left out. There's actually more examples of bad lyricism on those albums than examples of good lyricism.

EmTV wrote:Seriously. How can you be perfectly fine with saying someone's opinion is wrong? Arrogant fuckdick.

There's objectivity in music. You can prefer Encore to Illmatic, but it isn't the better album.

EmTV wrote:And you said his last three albums aren't up-to-speed with GKMC, yet didn't mention relapse? Relapse was some really lyrical shit if you can get over the step-dad incest and serial killing, but that was basically the album's concept.

A song about step-dad incest will have to be more than a fictitious story about gay felching while trying your hardest to be shocking and funny, and failing to do so. I don't care what the albums concept is, it has to be well executed and it wasn't.

EmTV wrote:And it had some touching Emo songs like Beautiful with an air if depression to it, or Careful What You Wish For, with the same basic thing, but sprinkle in some frustration too.

I like CWYWF, it's actually pretty good. Beautiful is a poorly written melodramatic sapfest, though.

But how is it trash? It's perfectly fine to not like the album, but again, there's objectivity to music, especially with lyricism in rap music, so I don't see how an album like this can be TRASH. You sound like Shyne.

Not liking the beats? Fine. Thinking it's terrible lyrically? No.

Aww man...you did not just call Encore "classic." Your opinion is completely worthless at this point.

Wtf? I'm happy for Kendrick that he's getting the success he deserves. So now I'm a dick sucker for saying GKMC is better than most of Em's work? Fuck off.
