Nah, it was a D12 song.
This video is from 2004, 2005 the latest, and since you can see that he's writing lyrics, I assume he ended the song around the time the video was recorded, so it was supposed to be a D12 song but it was scrapped for some reasons.
Jimmy Crack Corn was released on the Re-Up in late 2006, and we know that around that time Em was having writer block. You can tell from the flow he used (similar to, for example, Pistol Poppin' which is from 2007) that the only songs/verses on the Re-Up that he wrote specifically for the project were We're Back, You Don't Know and Public Enemy #1. Because of the writer block he was recycling older songs like No Apologies. So maybe he did the same thing with Jimmy Crack Corn changing some words to fit it for 50 and G-Unit.

Does that make sense?

This song might be in the bottom 20 if we rank ALL Eminem songs from best to worst. But Still its a good song and quite enjoyable to listen to. Just proves the strength of Em's Catalog.

Considering this was supposedly the height of Em's addiction, he hardly seems fucked here, seems normal. Obviously he had a real addiction and sometimes you could hear it, but I think he also exaggerates it sometimes to justify laziness and boredom with rap back then.

I think that's why Encore has so many silly tracks, not because he was high; because I've abused painkillers too, it doesn't make you silly; but because he was bored, so was just fucking around. Cause he still had a decent theme, imagery etc. so obviously not as fucked as he suggests.

I think after The Eminem Show and "Lose Yourself", he himself just recognized he'd hit a very high peak and felt like he couldn't top it in that moment. As he even said in a not-too-long-ago interview that when he wrote "Lose Yourself" he immediately felt like "fuck, I'm never gonna write another 'Lose Yourself'" and felt he hit the roof with The Eminem Show etc.

I think he really did have some sort of desire to see how much he could fuck around and see who would still buy his shit.

I really think that's a semi-delusional idea from Em fans lmao. I really don't think he'd do that, he's way too conscious of legacy, his place, what he's doing and is doing etc. he's very selective, very careful, picks his titles and directions in a very particular way... I think it was part boredom, part writer's block, part depression of "fuck, I can't top it" and part trying to please what he envisioned as fans of 'Shady', which by that point had become a caricature, because it was no longer natural.

If this was a fuck around, off the dome freestyle it would be pretty sweet.

Pity it wasn't.

Yeah, it reminds me of something him and Royce could've demolished in 98/99.
