Lello wrote:Then at one moment, Ashley Young broke free while Ivanovic was following him, there was slight unintended contact and Ashley Young "the hollywood actor" did his usual dive, and fell down, and the referee decided to send off Ivanovic

then he decided to give Torres a second yellow for diving (the irony), while it wasn't a dive, there was contact, Torres fell down, if it's not a foul in the ref's eyes aight, let the game move on, but send him off for diving and bring us down to 9 men REALLY?!

This is where you really showed your unbelievable bias.

There was contact in both of them but they both 'dived' if you will. You can't complain both ways. Complain about inconsistency, yes.

And If it's not a foul in the refs eyes then he has to give a card for diving.

Fucking offside though.

Funny how lello always complains about diving, while chelsea had a couple of the most notorious divers in their team with robben & drogba

The same thing happened to me when Italy won the penalty against Australia in 2006, there was barely any contact but still some like that Torres one and I would defend it to death.

You mean there was no contact at all.. You probably mean "when Grosso decided to fall on the Australian player just so he could get the penalty" lol. I love Italy man but I felt so bad for Australians who honestly pulled off a great match.

It's easy to sit on the computer and show pictures and everything, but when you're on the field and actually witnessing it, you have a split second to react. It's not like the referee can look at images and videos, and go back and forth to prove things, like the other pro-referees who sit at home with their computers analyzing everything.

And that was my 10 000th post.

First of all when I say Torres did "dive". I'm not ruling out it being a foul, but he definitely went over after the contact.

And we scored an offside goal earlier this season which was a lot more obvious and there was no uproar.

But yes, it's disappointing. I wasn't too surprised when Ivanovic got his marching orders--he intentionally ran across the back of his legs.

I think it was probably the wrong decision against Torres and the 3rd goal was definitely offside.

Lello wrote:check the gif I posted earlier, Ashley Young dived, and if there's contact on Torres even if he fell down, it should've been a foul for us and not a red card, and the offside goal no one can deny

I will simply not shut up about this, all 3 decisions were wrong, we were about to destroy them, they weren't getting out of their half before the madness began

and we did score an offside goal in a game we won 4-2 <---, but United also got 3 cheap points by cheating Liverpool...

Last year United scored 2 offside goals and beat us 3-1 and in the second game Welbeck dived and got a penalty in the 3-3 game

I will not stand for someone saying the game was even 1% fair, cause it wasn't

we got screwed hard, and my blood pressure is still rising, I have not calmed down about this yet

Yeah, well two major decisions (the red cards) that could have gone either way at te time didn't go our way.

I brought up the offside because it happens. It's disappointing that it happened, but it does.

It would have been disappointing for Reading that we were offside in a lot more obvious way.

And another thing that is funny? The same can be said about Busquets. I am personally not so fond of that guy, but people still talk about him as the biggest actor in the world, just because of few small episodes that has, as you say, put a stain on his career. That "peek a boo" thing happened how long ago? Exactly. Can you name something recent? Nope, he has stopped doing it, or he does it just as much as any other player in the world. Remember Drogba when they played against Barca? He was more laid down on the field than being up and playing.

And what about this? It's more recent than the Busquets thing. It's from last season.

So yeah... this isn't an attack on anyone here, it's just that I am tired of seeing the Busquets thing because it has been sooooooo long ago he actually did "act" a lot.
